If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My issue wasn’t with the quality of the items or the prices—it’s with the way I was treated. As a non-white woman, I walked into the store, browsed without purchasing anything, and when I exited, the alarm went off. Despite having only my phone, wallet, and keys—no bags, no pockets, and no jewelry—I was immediately accused of stealing.
They took my keys, and though I voluntarily handed over my wallet to prove I had nothing, the way it was handled was humiliating. This all happened in front of other customers, and I was left embarrassed and deeply offended. I know I didn’t take anything, but it’s the principle—the assumption, the treatment, and the public shaming.
