After eating lunch at a local restaurant our party of four stopped in here at Barry's Car Barn with anticipation of seeing some amazing restorations based upon reviews left here on Google by prior customers. After paying $52 admission fee we all agreed as to what a disappointment this collection was. It was very, very small and of the few vehicles that were in this building I would only consider a small number of them as showroom quality. Perhaps my opinion is a bit skewed because in the past year I've been to the Petersen Museum ($15) and the Nethercutt Museum (FREE) in the Los Angeles area. The vehicles in those two car museums are world class restorations, and every car at the Nethercutt is kept road worthy and is taken out for a drive on city streets annually. I've also visited the car museums in Las Vegas and Laughlin which are also top notch quality car museums. The quality and quantity of vehicles here at Barry's Car Barn pale in comparison to the above car museums, and paying $13 admission per person to see such a mediocre collection of vehicles just doesn't sit very...
Read moreI have no idea why Barry's Car Barn was built behind the Country Store but I think that whether planned that way or not, it was a great idea. While wives or girlfriends shop in the Country Store the men can hang out in Barry's Car Barn reminiscing about the old days of the muscle cars that they once owned or just dreamed about owning. The cars are in immaculate condition all nicely lined up for visitors to admire. Or for younger generations, for them to see the automobiles that played an important part in their father's, grandfather's or great grandfather's lives. There is also a vintage Packard that looks like it was just driven off the showroom floor. Sprinkled around the building are a few replicas of old gasoline pumps showing the price of gasoline back in the 60s of 42.9¢ a gallon. You'll find a number of older model Harley Davidson motorcycles and antique telephones and signs of gasoline company signs. Any automobile enthusiast would enjoy their time spent here as time seems to stand still as you return to your youthful days.
Gentlemen, start...

They have a huge Barn full of beautifully restored antique vehicles from the 1930s into the 1970s. They have the largest collection of Corvettes that I've ever seen and they have a arranged by year I'm the initial one in 1959 to the end of the stingray era in the end of the 1960s. This car barn is located in intercourse PA right in the middle of Amish country in Lancaster County Pennsylvania. It's only one and a half hours from downtown Philadelphia. They are in the process of designing a restaurant on the top floor of the barn. A huge hotel is going up right next to it. So come stay the weekend and visit the barn and have dinner in 2025. Be sure to call the barn and see when the restaurant...
