This was my first time visiting the Leesburg premium outlet. This is a Simon outlet property very different from the Tangier outlet property in National Harbor. This outlet had more luxury stores. However, I had seen on a previous review that this outlet also had a Gucci store however, there is no Gucci store at this outlet. The only luxury stores this outlet has to offer is Burberry, Marc Jacobs and Restoration Hardware. I visited the Marc Jacobs store, which was primarily handbags and accessories. I was told that the top handle Marc Jacobs tote and straps and perfumes were the only items in the store that did not offer discounts. The Marc Jacobs tote at their stores are the canvas ones not the leather ones. This outlet also offers your customary outlet stores such as Coach, Michael Kors, the Gap, Old Navy, and sports stores, like Nike, Reeboks, and a Ascics. I didn’t like the Nike store only because the women’s section was very very small and didn’t have much variety. The men’s section was probably the largest that I have seen in a Nike outlet and there were plenty of kids items in the store but definitely disappointing that there was not enough Items for women such as T-shirts, more casual clothes or even not enough variety of workout clothes. Even though it wasn’t in the store directory there is a Bath and Body Works store at this outlet. Not all stores at this outlet are “outlet” stores meaning they are not all year around discounted items. Overall, I thought it was a very nice outlet. It was clean. I went on a Thursday afternoon and it wasn’t crowded at all. I found the employees in the stores were very pleasant and I didn’t feel not seen or rushed. I lived in Orlando for eight years and this outlet, though not as big as the outlets in Orlando, I thought were on par with other Simon outlets I visited in Florida. The store that I was the most impressed with was the DKNY store because it had a variety of clothing items such as dresses, casual clothing, shoes and accessories that you just don’t see anywhere not even what you see in big department stores. I felt the discounts were generous. If you are in the military or a veteran, and you have documentation make sure you show it at the stores to get veterans and military discount. It varies store to store on how much the discount is and the stores that offer it will have a decal in the windows. I didn’t go to the food court but there are restaurants close to the outlets. It was quite a drive from Alexandria to Leesburg so I don’t know if I’ll visit again anytime soon. But I enjoyed...
Read moreI've always liked Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets, but after visiting the newly-opened Tanger Outlets at National Harbor, I've come to appreciate Leesburg Outlets even more. There are over 100 outlet stores here, from Ann Taylor, J. Crew, Banana Republic to Barneys New York, Burberry, Michael Kors, Theory, and more. There are over 50 fashion/sportswear stores for you to peruse, about 10 different children stores, over 20 shoe stores, and also jewelry, luggage, houseware, and specialty stores. This is a shopper's paradise!
There is ample parking even on the most crazed holiday weekends. In addition, there are so many great sales going on! During holidays, you can see 50-75% off the whole store and even on non-holidays, certain stores will have 10-30% off. If you prefer a classic wardrobe, Leesburg Outlets is a prime place to get all your work staples. I frequent J. Crew, Banana Republic, and Ann Taylor and have consistently bought clothes here that fit both the work and play parts of my life. I've gotten so many great deals here, from work dresses, cardigans, blazers, pants, shorts, and purses, everything I need to create the fashionably classic work style and even some items for outside of work like cute dresses, T-shirts, sweaters, etc. I will say that half of my closet at home contains items bought at Leesburg Outlets! There are just so many great deals, it's almost like you're getting these items for free.
You can check out center events and in-store promotions on their website. They'll usually list the discounts on the in-store promotions tab, so you can check out what discounts are there before you make the trek to the outlets.
They also have 50 Plus Shopper Perks. If you're 50+, you can get an additional 10% savings on Tuesdays. Members/veterans of the military and their families get a free VIP coupon book at the Information Center. You can also sign up to be a VIP member online for free and receive a voucher to get a free VIP coupon book on-site as well as...
