*Update: thank goodness I wrote the review and the corporate office responded! They advised me to get a second opinion from another uBreakiFix store. I brought the phone into the South Jordan location and no liquid was detected! They honored the 1 year screen repair warranty and fixed the phone with no charges or issues. I’m leaving my 1 star for the Lehi, Ut location for their dishonest service. I gave a 5 star review to the South Jordan location. I would also like to thank the large corporate office for helping make things right. Not sure what’s going on at the Lehi location, but I don’t trust that particular store.
Not sure how this place has so many good reviews, because our experience was not good. My daughter brought her iPhone 13 in for a screen repair in September and paid close to $300 and now only 3 months later her phone is completely broken. We brought it in last Thursday and showed the store that the screen isn’t staying on (she dropped it on carpet snd the screen popped off) and they said liquid was detected which is a new problem and voids the warranty. They want to charge another $300 for separate repair job. I believe if there really is liquid in it, it is because of the faulty screen repair job. My daughter just got done paying off this phone and now it is basically garbage because of the job they did on the...
Read moreNot good. They didn’t explain anything. My camera lense was broken so I took it in to prevent dust getting into the lense. They “fixed” it and now it has dust all over the camera and is 10000 percent worse than what it was. I took it back to show them and they said a whole different story to my husband that it was already like that which is false because I sat there and showed them before leaving the phone to originally be fixed that there was no dust and I just needed the camera changed. Now they are telling me they have to replace the whole camera and it’s gonna cost me 250 dollars on top of the 85 they charged me yesterday. Super dishonest and not good work at all. I would never go back and wished I had just gone to the Apple Store in the first place.
Update: they left a comment saying bring it by and they would look at it and fix it… well I already did come back and you guys said it was like that when I brought it in and you would charge me an additional 250 dollars to fix it. So that’s a lie about the warranty because I did bring it back and you blamed the bad work on me? Super confused. I already tried to handle it a better way but was left to leaving a bad review and my camera being worse off than when I...
Read moreI had my screen repaired there on my iPhone, 14 Pro Max, and ever since I received it, it has had weird problems, like the pressure is heavy on one of the corners. When I am using my phone on a call the screen won’t light up, and I am constantly having to restart my phone. I have had a baby in the hospital and have been not able to bring it back in. And while it was in my purse, it cracked in the corner with the heavy pressure. I took it in and talked to them about the problem, and because there was a crack on the screen they were unwilling to repair it. I am sure that the crack in the screen is because they install the screen incorrectly. I have never had a phone screen crack in my purse. I am so frustrated, because I am not willing to pay another $350 to have my screen repaired when they will not fix a problem that they created with my phone. I tried to talk to them about this problem in the store, and they were unwilling to resolve the issue with me. Such poor customer Service, and really paying $350 for a screen that has lines down it, and has problems with touch sensitivity is really frustrating. They told me that there was a warranty, but they have done a poor job, covering the problem...
