I've been to the Lehi location a handful of times. I love Pizzeria Limone and find it surprising that every time I've been in that place is so dead. I'm not sure if it's due to management or what. I do have to say however, and every time I have gone in my experience so that has gotten worse and worse. This last time I went in was today, I walked in to find a spill underneath the table with no one sitting at the table and not cleaned up. The place seems pretty dirty. Once I received my food (which is the order I get everytime) I noticed something was different about it. The blackberries were cooked and red rather than their usual blue- black color that blackberries have. This is my absolute favorite pizza. Like I said I get it every single time. It just did not taste right. So I asked the people working, boy with a black Chef's shirt told me they always cook it like that. I know for sure that they do not. All the employees there had to be in their teens, even the one in the black Chef's uniform. They were all very young. There happens to be another spill at another table that I went and told them about and they did nothing about it. I saw it another customer go up and tell them about it and yet they're still did nothing about it. so finally by the time the spill was sleeping underneath my shoes and under the table I went and asked them to clean it up yet a third time. finally, someone came and cleaned it up but not underneath the table. So unfortunately I left there was sticky shoes. The first time I've ever had the pizza there and was not satisfied with it. I did notice that my pizza was oval and the person ahead of me got an oval shaped Pizza which was also broken. Like I said I'm not sure if it is due to the management of who is in charge during the days but something needs to be fixed. We will not be coming there or recommending the Lehi...
Read moreThe food was ok, nothing that I will be craving to eat again. The staff was in need of some customer service skills. When I arrived, they didn't seem busy and there weren't that many people eating there. It was my first time so I didn't really know what the procedure was (where to order - no signage). There was nobody in line, so I just stood at the beginning of the food prep area where a female employee was making pizzas. I stood there ready to order for 2-3 minutes and the staff just ignored me. Finally I asked the girl (Courtlynn?) if this is where I place my order. She said yes without looking at me and continued to make pizza. I told her what I wanted and she just reached over and tapped something on the screen of a tablet that was next to her. She didn't say anything and then just kept making pizza, moving away from me piling toppings on her pizza. I just kept standing there as I had a couple more items to order. I waited and she just kept going about her pizza making. Finally, I walked over to her and said I had more things to order. She walked back over to the tablet and waited. I told her an additional item, she tapped the screen and ran back over to her pizza. Really? Now is the part where you say to the customer, "Will that be all for you today?" I had to chase her down again and tell her I still had something else to order. The whole process felt like she was totally annoyed that she had to take my order and that I was getting in the way of making a pizza. I was blown away that she seemed that disconnected from helping a customer. Service was quite slow also (waiting for our order), which was surprising given how few people were there. Bizarre experience and I...
Read moreMy wife and I have been to Pizzeria Limone in Lehi a dozen times or more and used to really enjoy the menu and style of the eatery, yet it has really gone down hill over the last year.
We again took our family for dinner tonight and it was shockingly clear that this location is poorly ran and operated. I received no direction in the ordering station and the operator taking my order was not paying attention to what I asked. I waited 5 minutes to pay at the register without a single person in front of me, and the cashier asked me "are you here to pay" which I thought was strange and I was the only person who ordered and had been standing at the register for 5 minutes.
All this would be fine, yet our food was poorly executed and not enjoyable in any way. My wife's Pera (which we've had a number of times) had a load of oil on the bottom which made the dough very soggy was not pleasant to eat. My pizza was warm from the oven, yet the toppings that were added after it came out and were cold as if they just came out of the refrigerator. Not good at all. Our tables were not clean and you could clearly see the employees did the bare minimum needed to get the table ready.
I am not someone who leaves poor reviews, yet it was such a poor experience that I needed to shed some light on this downward spiral this location has undergone. I simply felt it necessary to give some feedback, so this location can improve.
I'm hopeful it can change in the future. I expect we'll come back in a year and see if...
