Came to this gem for a much-needed family lunch after family photos and boy did we make the right decision to fill our bellies with good quality comfort food. I heard good things about this place, but man, they really impressed us today with our first visit.
Upon entering their doors, we were warmly greeted by MJ, who I learned later, is the manager/supervisor. MJ also chose to be our server, and we were so grateful as he was so attentive, super personable, and made you feel instantly "at home". He conversed with us and answered all of our questions about the menu, describing dishes in a detailed manner and even suggested ones that we would enjoy. He just made you feel like you were talking to an old friend, who you already knew for years - quite intriguing MJ....quite intriguing!
We ordered: Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Tandoori, and Shrimp Coconut Curry. For appetizers: Chicken pakora, vegetable samosas. All of these were accompanied by basmati rice, plain and garlic naan bread. We also ordered not one, but two mango lassis, and for dessert: mango ice cream and kheer. All of them were pretty top-notch, fantastic, mouth-watering entrees. We consider ourselves Indian food experts (Californians) and this place hit every great Indian food checklist we have listed on our taste palette. The chicken tikka masala - we couldn't get enough of it. One of us (not naming them) wanted to drink the sauce with a straw if they could! Dipping your naan bread in this sauce is a pair made in heaven. Chicken tandoori came to our table sizzling on a platter, even our pickiest eater wanted more after a serving of this on his plate. The vegetable samosas came out w/two dipping sauces - the same sauces we've encountered previously in past experiences in great Indian restaurants. For the young children, make sure you order the chicken pakora - it was a hit! I can just go on and on about this place!
In addition, we also met the owner, Maninderpal, who also chose to take a turn to serve us and conversed with us, making sure that our food was to our liking and was eager to get any feedback.
For those who like Bombay House (Provo), this restaurant is as good, maybe even better. This place is less chaotic, has a more intimate setting, has better service, and the decor is phenomenal. Cannot wait to come back, closer...

Hello, I come to you today not just with a google review..but with a story. A story of enlightenment, a story of self discovery, a story of rebirth... And that story began the day I walked through the doors of Little India.
From the second you walk in you are assaulted with the most tantalizing aromas this side of the equator. The atmosphere is truly palpable as you take in blends of thousands of herbs and spices billowing through the establishment.
After being able to take in the aroma you are greeted by a welcoming staff eager to serve you. The staff carry themselves with the height of decorum and drip authenticity. As I’m whisked away to my seat and I can begin to take in the decor..I am immediately emotional. From the tables to the chairs and the carpet.. all of it is stunning. It’s as if I parked my car in Utah and sat down to eat on the west banks of the Yamuna river in New Delhi.
As I browse the menu the staff continue to amaze me with their knowledge and passion for Indian culture. Taking time to educate me on the various dishes and providing me with recommendations.
With my cultural experts at the helm I decided on the chicken tikka marsala and garlic naan. Within the blink of an eye beautiful sterling silver bowls were placed in front of me holding the recipes which have taken generations to perfect.
I am compelled to immediately dive in beginning with the naan. Buttery, light, flakey.. these are the words that come to mind as I sink the warm naan into the depths of my curry.
Again I am overcome with emotion as my mouth begins to process the spectrum of flavor that has enveloped my tastebuds. I drizzle the curry and chunks of moist chicken across my Bhagwati rice. each bite pulling me in deeper. The soft sounds of Hindi music playing in the background.
It was at this moment where I reached true enlightenment. I took a deep breath while I took a moment to pause and reflect. Before I knew it a single lonely tear fell from my eye.
I felt something in Little India that night. It has been planted in my core and will live within me for years to come.
Thank you for sharing your culture...
Read moreAs I stepped into Little India in American Fork, I was hit with an aroma that made me feel like I was being hugged by a giant, friendly spice rack. Let me tell you, this place isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a flavor carnival, and I had front-row tickets.
First up, the butter chicken. This isn’t your average, run-of-the-mill chicken dish. It’s like the chicken went on a spiritual journey in a tandoor, then decided to take a buttery, onion-tomato hot tub. Each bite was a perfect harmony of spices and tenderness, making me wonder if this is what clouds taste like in heaven.
And the vegetable samosas? These aren't just stuffed pastries; they're like tiny, edible treasure chests filled with spiced potatoes and green peas. Fried to a golden perfection, they were so good, I almost asked for a map to find where they hide these potatoes because they are the real treasure.
Now, let’s talk about the garlic naan. It’s not just bread; it’s like a soft, garlicky, cilantro-speckled magic carpet that transports all the other food gracefully into your mouth. It’s so fresh from the tandoor, I half-expected it to sing in my mouth.
The service? Imagine your best friend, who knows exactly what you need before you even say it. That's the kind of service we’re talking about. Attentive, friendly, and always there with a smile, making sure your water glass never felt lonely.
The ambiance of the place is like walking into a Bollywood movie set - vibrant, lively, and so welcoming that you feel like you’re part of a big, happy Indian family gathering.
Dining at Little India isn’t just eating; it's an experience, a culinary hug that envelops you with each bite. I’m not just going back; I might move in there. If you haven’t been, what are you even doing with your life? Go now!...
