Food was decent, but I wouldn’t say it was anything to write home about and certainly not for the price point, but where my review stems from is the service. Customer service is not friendly or welcoming at all. In fact, it seemed like waiter(s) were almost put out about having to do their job. drinks were topped off and chips replaced etc but it seemed like I as a customer was a burden. When I received my receipt prior to payment I noted that we were charged for basically a second meal because they were dishonest about how something would be billed. In our case, I ordered a kids menu meal for my toddler son. He asked for steak so I asked if we could do steak instead of the options offered. I was told that would be fine but it would be a a little bit extra for the steak. Fine. Kids menu notes it comes with Fries when it came time to be billed out I noticed we were charged almost double for the kids meal and then an additional 8.00 for fries and drink billed separately. I told the waiter that fries were supposed to be included with cost of kids meal at which point he began to become argumentative and unprofessional. He talked about how he said it would cost me more because I ordered a steak taco instead of beef and I said I understand but you charged me extra plus essentially the cost of another meal for the fries that should’ve been included with the kids meal. He said he understood and went to fix it. He brought me a second receipt that was the same total cost he just worded things different. When I called him out for that he began to argue some more and said when I go out to eat I expect to pay money you should do the same. I asked to speak with a supervisor and after some back and forth and explaining he ultimately comped the fries. (We’re talking about $8.00 here it’s really not that big of a deal) I told him yall seem to have a track record of shady billing and miscommunication-I’m less concerned about $8.00 than I am about the principle. if you’re going to bill something out a certain way be honest about it up front with the customer. If me ordering steak on the taco would cancel out the kids meal I would’ve ordered differently but that was never made clear. Waiter staff made a scene in front of other customers trying to enjoy their meal in peace by arguing with myself and my wife over 8 dollars and their integrity. A little ridiculous to me. When asking a a question about the way I was charged I expect a better response than “pay what you’re asked” that’s not how this works. Stop taking advantage of people and disrespecting a paying customer (and more importantly customers wife) I would recommend exploring other options for Mexican food or check your receipt...
Read moreIt was odd. Usually, food is amazing. Today, it is not even good enough to take leftovers. Very slow in ordering, refills. And the restaurant was not even half full.
I left this review 4 months ago. Tried to go on Sept 10th with a party of 6. The front guy put us in a booth for 4. When we asked to just go across to an open table made for six he said "whatever" we moved everything and had to ask for utensils, water, the basics. Food was cold and wrong. No drink refills. $100 bill. Worst experience.
Tried today, Dec 2nd. Late lunch. 2 people. Limited to the point we felt we were an inconvience (not busy. Many open tables. 3 cooks. A few workers watching tv) no drinks refills. I ordered a dish I've never had. He put it down in front of me. Came back 5 min later sad it was wrong, I was eating someone else's (this one had rice and beans, mine I guess didn't come with it [quesadillas veggie fajitas]), he has mine in one hand, takes the other, while I have my fork in it YES I HAD STARTED EATING and told the kitchen while walking back "told you she'd start eating it" I paid no attention to if it came with rice and beans but the whole restaurant knew I was eating it anyway.
$40 bill for 2.
NEVETGOING BACK. Don't waste your time. This use to be good fun food and place. Its a disgrace. Nothing...
Read moreI ordered the steak fajitas and was disappointed that the tortillas that came with them were full size burrito tortillas, not the small taco size that are the standard. I ended up ditching them all together and ate the steak, bell peppers and onions along with the rice and beans. It wasn't bad but not a whole lot of flavor. My wife got the Chili Verde enchilada and hers tasted alright but came with hardly any meat. Also, two types of music seemed to be playing at the same time. Some kind of Mexican music along with Tina Turner and such in the background. So, not really worthy of a one star, right? Well, after we left is when the experience truly took a turn... it was all I could do to get through the door to my house before the gut bomb exploded and before long, it was coming out of both ends. A little while later, my wife finally told me that the beans had a weird sour smell and that she was feeling sick as well. I didn't smell anything but if she had mentioned it at the restaurant, I might have avoided them and spared myself the suffrage. So yeah, one star for suspected food poisoning. Hopefully this was just an isolated incident but we won't be returning...
