I called 7/16 to inquire about a wave perm. I was given a consult 7/22- I was super excited and they were very professional. I scheduled with Riley- she had two available appointments within 2 weeks but the one that worked would have been from 6-9pm and I felt that was late to keep someone at a salon so I opted to wait until 8/13 for a 10am appointment. I called 8/2 to confirm the pricing (was not discussed at appointment) as online it says $110-$170 and I wanted to make sure to bring enough cash for a tip. I didnāt receive a call back so I can hold again Monday 8/4 as I was at the airport. I was left a voicemail by the reception stating that the quote would be for $240.
I called back to see if I could understand the price discrepancy. I was eventually able to speak with Riley and she stated that because of the complexity and how much hair I had, it would be an increase in price. I asked her if she could review her notes from our consult as I have short/medium hair, itās thin and fine as well. I also stated that the website pricing does not reflect her quote (photo). She said she would need to talk with management regarding pricing and that she could do it for $170 and any fee for extra solution.
Fast forward to the day before my appointment I receive a voicemail from one of the owners, Suzanne, stating that she would be canceling my appointment because Riley felt intimidated and that just because I think their perms are too expensive they felt I would bet you better suited going somewhere else.
I spoke to her for almost an hour, and she realized she did not have the full account of what transpired in the conversation I had and she also looked at the website and noticed the pricing that was provided. She apologize for canceling the appointment and said they would be happy to have me. She also told me that she would give me a $75 discount off my next visit in which I planned to schedule once my perm started to fade.
I came in the following day and the service was great. Suzanne came in and I met her. After my appointment, we discussed products and there were a few strands of my hair that were straight. They said wait three days and then wash it and put product on it And it should bounce back. And if not, theyād be happy to have me back in and fix it. I gave a 20% tip and left.
After three days, I let Suzanne know that all that looks great aside from the underneath parts that were straight (photos).
A couple minutes later I get a call from another owner, Liz, to which Liz said that they will refund me my money so that I ācan find a salon that is a better fitā. I asked what she meant and that Iām happy for them to keep the money if Riley could fix the strands that didnāt take to the solution as Suzanne said they could do when I was in their salon. Liz proceeded to tell me that all the owners spoke and felt that their salon was not making me happy and they will not be honoring Suzanneās offer to fix my hair even though their policy online (photo) says otherwise.
I asked if by ābetter fit salonā meant a salon that would take accountability for a mistake and honor their offer. She would not address that and said sheās sorry that they couldnāt be more help and to give her my Venmo so they could refund me.
Unfortunately, much more unprofessional behavior transpired over the last month that I donāt have space for in this review, but I am thoroughly disappointed as it seemed like a beautiful salon, all the stylist seemed to be helping one another while I was there, and Suzanne went up and beyond after much confusion...

I didnāt get an option of who I wanted to do my hair when I made an appointment they just put me with someone which was kinda weird. Anyways I showed my stylist pictures of what I wanted (2-4 photos actually) and they still couldnāt achieve the color/shade of blond I wanted. I was told my appointment would be $180-90 at consultation and I ended up paying $223 for hair I didnāt like in the end.. . It was super dark even DARKER than what I came in with.. I was trying to go lighter like the Inspo photos I showed them which should have easily been achieved. My hair is also fried and very very dry on the ends which has never happened at any other Salonā¦Iāve been to 3 -4 other stylists in the last 6-7 months and no one can seem to get me to the lightness I have been asking for which is super weird ⦠I know I can get blond because Iāve done it in the last 2yrs. I believe the toner is extremely dark too and ruins the color when it sets too long or isnāt watered down or whatever they do to make it not as strong.
Iām supposed to go back in a month or so but probably wonāt because Iām too scared to be overcharged again and leave with the same results and still be unhappy.
Place was clean and very nice. Thatās the only reason why Iām giving 2 stars. I donāt wanna be āthat clientā but Iām tired of asking for something and it not being achieved the first go around and then paying large amounts of money for a beginner stylist (level 1). Very frustrating..

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI made an appointment at this salon because I am new to the area and all the reviews were great. Overall the salon is nice - the receptionist is very kind and accommodating. Unfortunately, my color service and blow out was very, very mediocre. I had explained to the stylist that I have stubborn gray hair and she assured me so could handle it. After processing my hair, I received a really nice head massage while she washed out the color. When she started to blow dry my hair I noticed that many spots did not take the color. I am young with a centralized gray hair problem that makes me feel very self conscious so I was upset that the stylist overlooked the spotty, poor job by saying "she would try something else next time". I paid $85 for a bad root touch up and a bad blow out (she kept saying my hair is so thick...which it is, but it blows out very nicely and its honestly not that thick...). The receptionist noticed I was unhappy and she went out of her away to schedule me a follow up appointment. I attended and the color was a little better, but not perfect. I also received the same sloppy blow out but was not charged for this re-do. I will not be coming back...
