I never expected the experience I had in this store with the people there. I came in with my husband after having lost my wedding band in a car vent located on the dashboard from throwing it in my husband's car. We went to a Chrysler dealership that same day (Monday) at around 5 pm. They informed us that we would have to come back the following day and that the price of the service could get quite costly because they would have to remove the whole dashboard to find where the ring had fallen. Feeling hopeless, I cried in the backseat of my husband's car on the drive back home and he suggested we get me another wedding band. First, we went to Old Town Jeweler's (my random choice) but my husband wasn't satisfied with their selection and suggested we check out Beasley's before making a final decision. We came in and were greeted by two lovely ladies: Linda and Lisa. I found a slim wedding band, similar to my old one but significantly heavier, thus costing more than my original ring. Since I liked it, my husband went to fetch my engagement ring from the car and while he was gone, I explained to these two ladies how I threw my wedding band onto the dash and lost it. Resonating with empathy, Lisa the owner, suggested a discounted price because she experienced a somewhat similar situation and understood how I felt. When my husband came back, I stacked my engagement ring on top of the wedding band that I thought I wanted and it looked nice. Lisa took the new wedding band, my engagement ring, along with my husband's wedding band (upon his request) and cleaned it and polished it for us. While she was doing that, we thought we would just browse at the rest of their selection, peeking at their more expensive rings. I tried some on and then my husband saw one showcased that his eyes kept drawing back to: a ring approximately one inch tall, stacked with yellow and white gold and diamonds, and had a crown-like appearance. We asked what the price was, Lisa said $3,215 and I said out loud, "Oh no, I'm not worth that much," to which Linda responded, "Yes you are," and my husband said I should try on the ring; I did and it was beautiful. Upon seeing how the ring looked on my finger, Lisa told me she could discount it if I really liked it, and I sure liked it, but the price she gave still seemed too high in my mental budget. My original wedding band was a 14 karat yellow gold ring that cost $100 from online. My husband took the ring, and repeated the new discounted price back, paused, sighed, and then explained to them the true reason I threw my ring in the first place and I began sobbing, reliving the pain of the reason all over again. But then he said, "My wife is my queen and she is worth this ring and so much more." I was shocked and Linda and Lisa appeared to be touched. He purchased the ring for me and these beautiful ladies talked me through the pain I was going through, advised me, and even hugged me. I am awaiting to pick up the ring after they've sized it for me by this afternoon and I'm a little excited. Jewelry doesn't buy my love, ever. But the meaning behind it helps me get over this pain slowly but surely. I didn't know I could love two complete strangers upon just briefly after meeting them, but I do. And I'll never forget this experience, the time they took with me, the empathy they gave me, along with the wisdom they shared with me. Those two women radiate love and my words won't suffice with the gratitude I have for having met them that day. I know I'll love my ring and I wouldn't buy it from anywhere else, because it wasn't the ring that they sold me, it was understanding, love, and empathy. Those two ladies are priceless and I now hold a place in my heart for them. I'll never forget them and I am forever...
Read moreI want to genuinely thank Beasley's for their patience, expertise, and kindness in making my granddaughter's gift, which she will be able to wear for many decades to come. I appreciate everything they do and love their amazing staff and owner! They are trustworthy as well and will go extra miles to deliver and make people happy with their quality work. I have had many things done by them in the past, and this one was no different. They nailed it! This one was a project-type, special, future heirloom gift for my 8-year-old granddaughter. They worked with all my mind-changing ideas and educated me in my options. They even brought multiple selections for the final decision when selecting the princess-cut diamond earrings.
I want to share with others the final works that will be a keepsakes showcasing Beasley's beautiful works in diamonds as well as a future heirloom for my granddaughter.
My hope is that the earrings will not only remind my granddaughter of me and my husband, but more so of my mother, who gave diamonds to me at a young age. When my granddaughter wears them for decades to come, I hope she cherishes the beauty that Beasley's was able to deliver and remembers her grandparents and great-grandmother. Obviously, pictures will not show the true beauty of Beasley's efforts and work but can help illustrate it.
Here are some pictures showcasing their beautiful work in diamonds. It is a "message in a bottle" theme with a vineyard twist tieing in the grapes of our vineyard as well as time and my mother's favorite rose. The message was created on a scroll for safe keeping in the wine box.
Also recently, Beasley's resized one of my mother's rings for me as a pinky ring. I first thought it was too small, but after a couple of days of wearing it, my finger tissue got used to wearing a ring on that pinky, and it fits perfectly. If it had been bigger, I probably would have lost it, since I wasn't use to wearing a ring on my pinky.
I hope you'll put your trust and faith in Beasley's when you're ready for your next idea in diamonds or jewelry. Again, hats off to Beasley's! You can always...
Read moreThe jeweler here is very lazy. I brought 2 rings in yesterday. One was my husbands heirloom ring that was all bent out of shape. All the sales person did was push it down on one of those metal rods they use to check the size of the ring and said that’s all they could do. It didn’t get the warpness out at all. I also brought in my wedding band and engagement ring to be soldered together. They called me the next day to come pick up my rings and the result was horrible! The bands didn’t match up at all, and at first the manager tried to tell me thats what they were supposed to look like. She said “I’ve worked in jewelry all my life and that’s how it is”. Then she told me it looked like that because the rings were 2 different sizes. When I asked why they didn’t call to inform me that they were different sizes before welding them together. I would have been happy to pay the difference to get them sized correctly. The manager just said well you didn’t tell us to call you. You’d think that any time there was a “hiccup” you’d call to ask how the customer wanted to proceed. But now it’s spot welded together in the weakest way possible and has marks on it from where I’m assuming the jeweler had it held while working on it. At the end the manager just tried to say “well only you will notice the bands don’t line up”. Yes but it is my wedding ring! Something sentimental that I will be wearing for a very long time and would want to show off. This is not work I’d be proud to show off! Very sloppy work indeed. I do not recommend
On top of it they assumed my rings were silver at first glance (they are in fact brand new 10k white gold) and told me they could only solder them if they were gold. Which is either a bad policy or more laziness...
