I’ve driven past this place so many times on my way to work from Denton to Coppell, and I was always so curious to try since they have good reviews. Finally was driving in the area on a Sunday got hungry and realized how close I was and decided to try it! Not gonna lie I thought this was going to be like a sit down restaurant with waiters, but it’s like a fast food joint. So honestly that made me lower my expectations.
Keneth took my order and gave great customer service. There were also some Asian food items on the menu that surprised me. I ordered a 6 piece combo of hot lemon pepper with fries, ranch, celery, and a fountain drink.
They have a little section with table games you can play and it’s BYOB. Keneth came to my table and treated me with complimentary fried dumplings!
Fried dumplings- Wow soooo good. Definitely have to order these next time. They had some sort of (I’m guessing) soy glaze drizzled over it that complimented these STUFFED flavorful dumplings so well. Wings- Hot, fresh, tender, SAUCY, flavorful. Sooooooo good. I think I like them more than my go to place! (Pluckers) Fries- A really good size portion of crinkle cut fries. They were crispy with a tasty fry seasoning. Celery- Fresh and crunchy. I had 2 small pieces could’ve used a couple more as I love having something fresh in between bites, but I know some people don’t care for it. I’ll just ask for extra next time. Ranch- It’s not like wingstop ranch (that is the elite ranch lol) but tasted like any basic ranch so it’s good. Honestly I was loving the sauce on my wings so much that I forgot about it, but still enjoyed dipping my fries in it.
I gave atmosphere 3 stars just because there’s not much natural light being let in since there’s big signs on the windows, and the floor was sticky all around the fountain drink area. It’s just a basic little fast food dining area.
Overall the food was awesome and I highly recommend you give this place a chance! Sorry for the bad pictures. I had to take...
Read moreFirst off, wings have been my favorite food since I was a child. The food here is OUTSTANDING!!! The wings were cooked to perfection, not overdone like most places. Juicy, fresh tasting chicken. I got Hot Lemon, and I could tell this buffalo sauce was made in house, and not something straight out of a bottle. The fries were right on par, hot with a little bit of salt. We also got some fried rice to sample, which was full of flavor, and not dried out or old tasting. Kids loved it! Pricing was very reasonable in my opinion. I have a family of 4 and we ate for $45 total. For us that is really good considering, especially considering the high quality of the food.
Staff was super friendly, courteous and helpful when it came to checking out the menu and answering our questions.
Granted the appearance isn't what you get from those over-the-top wing places. But really I don't care one bit, the quality was that good. Anything they lack in appearance or flare is completely forgotten the moment you eat their food.
Stop driving past this place and you will...
Read moreI was going to stop here for Father's Day but I went to somewhere else and this place has really great reviews so I was excited to visit. It's an old grandy's LOL I remember when it was grandy's, honestly I think this place is more like a drive-thru, doordash spot, I would not dine in here I brought a family of four with me and they served us with styrofoam To-go containers which was weird cause I was dinning in, I thought customer service was decent but I just felt like some of the things were very cheap meaning quality, the wings are okay but I got egg rolls which I knew where Frozen and fries which I know exactly where to buy those fries at Kroger's. Dine-in experience is not that great like I said it's an old gradys that slapped on wingaholics logos everywhere they definitely need to remodel. I was bummed out that they didn't serve any alcohol as well. Like I said I think this place is good for a drive-thru or...
