We heard of this location on a Reddit board. We were surprised that we hadn’t heard of it previously because we like experiences like this. On the outside, you just see a gallery with a glass studio in the back. We went in and looked for the “lounge/speakeasy” and the artist smiled and said “Can I help you?”. Right then someone came out of an unassuming door. We walked into a smaller space that had a very speakeasy yet luxe feel. We sat at the bar because the seating is limited. They offered craft cocktails including unique ingredients such as rosemary, star niece, and cinnamon sticks. The bartenders were also not strangers to the torch which was unique. It was about 30 minutes in when we realized there was another door leading out to the other side of the glass blowing studio. There was a couch off to the side and three stools that have the best view of the studio. There are other tables but none that have a great view. We did have the opportunity to sit at the stools so we had a great view of the artist working. Overall, great experience and we will be back. Just be aware that the cost of the drinks do align with...
Read moreMy best friend purchased a chance to learn how to blow glass and create a custom piece for me as a gift. We just went this past Saturday and it was an incredible experience. The front of the gallery was displayed with beautiful art pieces worthy of a place at a museum. The Speak Easy wasn’t open when we arrived but they let us walk through and scout things out for a return visit. The lessons were the highlight of the day. Travis spent a good deal of time talking us through the process and allowing us to test our newly learned skills. Of course, safety was a priority so the more experienced “techniques” were left to him. My friend selected her colors to create a stemless wine glass and I chose my colors for a rock glass. Overall, we were so pleased with the experience, we started to tell anyone and everyone about it. I highly recommend visiting and participating in a session but if not, still go and experience everything else...
Read moreI will start with my only negative to get it out of the way because everything else was absolutely breathtaking. For me and my wife to have about an hour long, glass sculpting experience, it was $300.
Whew... Now that that's out of the way let's get to the review!
Me and my wife were both nervous walking into the intimidating studio. We met our instructor Shane who was super chill and patient with us (considering neither her nor I have a single second of glass blowing experience).
Shane let us do most of the work and only took control when necessary.
We both got to take home a piece that we created ( had to wait around 24 hrs to pick it up).
Customer service was superb, atmosphere was super classy, they offer drinks and have a lounge area. I will absolutely be back at least once a year
I highly recommend setting up an...
