Now let’s talk about the food — the star of the show! The brisket was absolutely phenomenal — tender, smoky, and perfectly seasoned, melting in your mouth with every bite. It’s easily some of the best brisket you’ll find anywhere, hands down. Every side dish complements the barbecue beautifully, crafted with the same attention to detail and flavor.

And just when you think it couldn’t get any better — the banana pudding comes along and steals the show! Creamy, sweet, and layered with just the right touch of nostalgia, it’s the perfect finish to an unforgettable meal.

We used LX BBQ to cater our daughter's rehearsal dinner (for over 100 people), after researching all of the BBQ places in the Lexington area. We loved everything about the experience- from our initial conversations, to the communication during planning, to sorting through the menu. The entire team was kind and helpful, and were patient and helpful in ensuring we could cater to our guests with dietary restrictions (they're gluten-free friendly) And then there's the food. Amazing! The brisket was legit- smoky, juicy, and tasty, as was the pulled pork and smoked turkey. We had a number of BBQ connoisseurs (our family included) at the dinner and multiple people shared that it was the best BBQ they'd ever eaten. LX was helpful, kind, and prompt in their communication and food delivery. We can't wait to eat there again and will definitely use them when we have catering needs...

Had a great experience at LX BBQ today. Wife and I tried the pulled pork, smoked turkey, pork belly, and house sausage, all were excellent. Pork had a great balance of salt/pepper/smoke, very tender. He gave a sample of the turkey, it was so good that we changed our order to include it.

Cheddar Jalapeño sausage had the right spice level and the snap. They put a lot of effort into the sides (beans were 9/10, white potato salad 10/10) and the extras (pickle/onion/sauce/bun) to match the meat. Owners worked there and were great to talk with.

They were out of ribs/brisket by 3:30 Saturday afternoon, so hit them up for lunch. And I heard they do burgers weds-fri? I’ll be back!

Some limitations: Will sell out of the good stuff their BBQ sauce options were great, but I didn’t see any spicy options short menu - but everything...
