We are just about to the one year mark of Emmaline beginning her skateboarding journey, as her coach I have seen her fall, cry, want to give up, but more importantly I have seen her get back up, wipe the tears, and go for it. The progress has been so crazy over the last year and I am so thankful to be a part of it. From taking her first push in the street in front of her house to this!!! This girl has a bright future in front of her and can accomplish anything she puts her mind to!!!

Team Pain-built skatepark that is on the older side. The concrete has started to erode down to the aggregate making the surface rougher than it used to be and thus rides slower. Weathering has also caused damage to kidney pool where tile and chunks of coping are now missing. There are some parts of the park that have been patched with Bondo, but it appears that the city has given up maintaining it aside from landscaping and trash removal. The design itself is very dated. There are lots of pyramids and hips but the park lacks quarterpipes, ledges, and flatbars. Most of the park slopes downhill towards the creek making it difficult to skate in any direction other than to the east. The skatepark does not have lights and seating areas along with drinking fountains are positioned towards other buildings within the complex. Overall, the park is not bad, but it desperately needs a redesign or expansion to modernize it.

People were friendly. Park is great bowl is literally a pool. All on all alot to ride for everyone. Skate scoot and bmx...didn't c any blades but im sure they would like it too. Also the park has "TICKLE BALL" not sure WTH that is but sure didn't wanna find out. Lol....oooohhhh....pickle...

Our favorite park. The old pool is a neat touch, but incredibly scary to skate in. The proximity to the playground is also wonderful. It would be nice if there were additional parking spaces near the skatepark, especially during the summer when we have to compete with...
