DO NOT USE A GIFT CARD ONLINE!
I took my kids to see Jumanji last Friday (1/10/20 at 7:15pm) evening. I ordered my tickets online. My total came to $37.01 for one adult ticket, two children's tickets and the online processing fee. I used a $25 gift card and paid the additional $12.01 on my personal card. When we showed up, our reservation was not there. I thought it was strange that I never received an email confirmation so I also thought maybe it didn't go through. I checked my bank account right then and there to be sure and the $12.01 had, in fact, come out of my account. The lady called for a manager and they explained that this happens sometimes with the gift cards online and advised that I would have to re-order my tickets and that unfortunately, the seats I reserved were no longer available. I showed the manager the that the original $12.01 charge had went through (on my phone) and he advised it would be credited back and if not, to send an email to them. I ended up having to repurchase the tickets and they applied a $25 credit (since my gift card now showed a zero balance indicating the earlier charge when through) leaving me again to pay the balance on my card. Fast forward a few days and I never received the credit. I sent an email as instructed and have not heard anything. I wanted a couple of days and tried calling today. The phone system is automated and then my call was discontinued. I just sent a second email to try and get my original purchase of $12.01 back. I know it isn't much but it is silly that I have to jump through this many hoops when the manager even commented that it was an error on their end. So why did I even have to repurchase tickets if this is a know problem and I verified my charge? So, don't think you are saving yourself and time or hassle by pre-ordering online. If I ever go back I will never make an online reservation again. I will just take my chances that they have space...
Read moreI came here today with my fiance and I loved it! The employees are very nice. They got me 5 dollars off my popcorn with my rewards and when I lost my phone, a young man cleaning the theater took the time to help me find it. He was very nice as were everyone else. Deadpool was very fun and I enjoyed the movie, the atmosphere, and everything. Thank you, bnb for the great time!
Now I scrolled down the reviews and saw many other positive reviews, but also a pretty mean one from someone named Tara Busby. In response to your outrageous review, Tara, I want to correct you on a couple things. In my experience, the employees here are very accommodating and kind. You claim the employee switched his attitude when you tried to explain how to double bag a popcorn? He was probably just confused on what you were trying to say, and once he finally did understand, he had to say no. From my understanding, it's not the popcorn they sell, but the popcorn bag itself. Because they are charging for the bag, yes you would have to pay double for two bags. That is how they do things there. If you don't want butter leaking out of the bag, don't drown your popcorn in ridiculous amounts of butter. And to outright accuse the man of pocketing cash is a serious thing and very awful to say without proof. You don't know that he's doing that, you're just being petty because you didnt get your way, Karen. Thats what little children do, I would know because I have two little girls. Not everyone is going to drop to their knees to serve you, the world doesnt revolve around you, sweetie. Be grateful for the opportunity to watch a movie, don't try to find negativity everywhere you go. That's a sad life to live. These hard working employees deserve...
Read moreUnless you're going for the Grand Screen or MX4D, fair warning. A few years ago I would have wrote a 4 or 5 star review for this location. As of late however the quality of the theater has dropped sadly.
Back in April, I went to see Sinners, in theater 6. I was taken aback when I entered the theater. The leather on the seats was wearing out in places, and at least 2 of the double recliners were broken to the point they were caving in middle. So that's already 4 unusable seats... Then was one of the pairs in the back row was covered in plastic, due to rain water leaking in the roof. Also the air conditioning was either not working, or it was on its last leg.
This June I went back to see 28 Years Later. My friends and I were booked for theater 8. I walked in and immediately turned around due to the air conditioning being fully broken. Keep in mind it was probably about 90 degrees outside so the inside was well over 80. The staff were very nice about everything, and we were able to get passes in order to go to the B&B Northland 14 so we could go to a showing that wouldn't' be hours later. I was informed the air conditioning in 6 and 8 were not working, and I thought it was crazy that 6 was still not working several months later.
If you go to this location, and you get booked for theater 6 or 8, I'd advise you to go to a different showing. I find it disappointing the Grand Screen seems to be the only theater I've been in recently that was well taken care of. Granted I haven't been in many of the other theaters, but the odds were crazy I'd get 2 of the bad apples out of the 3 movies I've seen in the last 3 months.
Unless I'm going for Grand Screen I'll probably stick to...
