This pharmacy is a nightmare. I’ve had multiple awful experiences here and will never be coming back.
Came in today, 10/10, to pick up meds only to find a line of 15 people waiting because an “unfortunate incident” with the pharmacist left the pharmacy closed until……who knows when?
Came in to pick up meds at 6:45pm to find the pharmacist quite literally BLOCKING me from getting in line because a staff member apparently needed to catch a bus. I let him know it was an urgent fill, he shrugged at me and basically said too bad. I stayed in line, and he rolled his eyes at me and said there was no point. He scurried off to the back for a moment, so I stepped forward into the line.
When he came back out, he was visibly annoyed and told me there was no point again, and said “there’s no reason to start a fight about this.” Excuse me? I’m literally just standing quietly in line? The level of unprofessionalism is insane. Perhaps if he had actually helped his tech instead of arguing with customers, there wouldn’t be such a time crunch.
I called multiple times per day for 4-5 days and never got an answer or callback despite leaving messages. I even called store customer service (twice) and they had the store manager ask them to PLEASE call me. They did not (twice). Nor did the store manager call me back as promised. (Twice).
Requested a prescription transfer that never happened, leading to my epileptic pet being left without her vital meds for several days because of their irresponsibility, which wouldn’t have happened if they’d answered their phone.
There have been several other instances of the pharmacy opening 10+ minutes late after lunch, general poor customer service, and poor communication.
Get it together. I will be transferring literally...
Read morePharmacy tech Jolene W. Screamed and yelled at me and would not stop in front of customers and employees. She insisted I could not get my medication because it was on auto refill for July 21st. I told her it was a new subscription I had turned in three days earlier. I said she probably mistook the blood thinner for my inhaler as my inhaler was due for July 21st.She said she was not wrong. The pharmacist hid behind his computer. He did fill my prescription. She threw it behind her where the pharmacist was and yelled, someone else help her and make her wait twenty minutes. she acted like she was on drugs and totally out of control. She would not stop screaming and yelling and stomping around behind the counter. She is a huge woman with a very very loud yell. I made a complaint with the store manager Randy. He did not document anything and planned on doing nothing. I made a complaint with Safeway corporate and the Oregon Pharmacy Board because I transferred my prescription to Walgreens, Im afraid she will do something to my pills, I was advised multiple entries for my prescriptions had come over my insurance was now all screwed up because they were billed multiple times for the same thing and prescriptions were added that I don't have. Beware...
Read moreLook I get there is a major pharmacy issue in this town. But figure it out. I work with the elderly and im tired of hearing that they cant get ahold of anyone to fill their prescriptions. And no, the 87 year old gentleman with mobility issues that lives in Otis does not need to come wait an hour in line just fill a prescription. And then come back to wait another hour to pick it up. It is active in the system but since it was a Rite Aid transfer, it is forcing those patients to call. And no one ever answers the phone. How do I know? Ive been trying to fill my meds for the last several days and the same thing. Ive called and called, no answer. Today someone finally picked up AND HUNG UP THE PHONE. What kind of disgusting customer service is that? I would have rathered someone picked up and said we're busy and put me on hold for 20 mins than just hang up. You all need a reality check before you cause someone some irreparable damage. Or does the...
