I recently selected Linden Lanes to host a bowling birthday party and it was a huge mistake due to the unprofessionalism of the manager Martina. Martina was the most unprofessional, unhelpful, and rudest person I have ever encountered in the customer service business. On the day of my event, I spoke with the front desk representative regarding the food I wanted with the package. He stated water was not free, which surprised me since I had asked this prior to booking my event and was told the complete opposite, in addition their party package flyer only mentions soda, not water. When I told the male representative I would like to upgrade the pizzas to pepperoni he sought out Martina. From the minute Martina approached me she was extremely hostile. She immediately began by stating that she “already told me the package is the package,” which was shocking to me since I never spoke with her a day in my life. I tried to communicate the information I was told on my previous visits prior to booking, but she continually cut me off and continued to speak rudely, stating “I have explained this already,” “you’re not listening,” and “I don’t get anything” - in reference to helping me place the pizza order. When I addressed her attitude and told her that was doing an abysmal job communicating and she was being extremely rude, she then rolled her eyes at me. Never once did she acknowledge or apologize for her poor behavior, instead she implied that it was my perception. But when I spoke with other members of the birthday party who had arrived before me, they too identified her as being extremely rude and unprofessional. All in all, it is clear that she is not an effective or knowledgeable manager. There is no communication among the front desk staff regarding the details of birthday packages, and their continued misinformation led to a frustrating experience. Read moreI have been here a bunch of times with my family and friends over the years. The majority of the time the staff is ok. However they often look Like they do not want to be bothered... And if you ask a question or need something, it is like you insulted them or something by the way the answer you, but not everyone was like that; hence, why our repeat visits, but today the lady at the front counter acted soooo miserable. Apparently there was some kind of big bowling event coming up where all the lanes were going to be occupied in the next hour. I asked can we play one game real fast we had about 35 minutes til this event. My son was looking forward to Going bowling all day. We could have pulled one quick game between three people in 20 minutes. Unfortunately because of the rain, and other factors we were running late getting there. This staff person did not try to accommodate me at all, Like another gentleman staff member did one time for us when a similar situation had happened. No rain check offer or anything. Not even a, “I’m sorry for the inconvenience, have a good day.” ,“Goodbye.” Nothing. Again I have been going there for quite sometime. Although I am not a special competitive bowling customer, I do come there with my family so that they can have a good time, but after this I think will be looking for a different location to take my family. Too bad because the location was convenient; however, if I have to travel just a little further for better hospitality and customer service, I will. I mean is it that hard to smile? The deal breaker was not the fact that there was an event coming up, and we wouldn’t be able to have a lane for three hours, but solely bc of the way this lady treated us, especially considering previously being treated in a rude manner...

The kids had a great time and the adults to bowling but when it came to ordering the food, what a disaster the poor girl behind the counter at the food counter was swamped with orders. This girl had to take orders Cook Serve the drinks and kitchen clean. And also take the food to the different lanes And to top it off, the food was terrible.very Salty and ordered some plantains. They were hard as a rock. And waited an hour and a half for the food ridiculous also, the manager was behind the counter at the food court, and didn’t even lift a finger to help the poor girl behind the counter, cook and serve the food. The manager should be fired. The girl behind the counter did a fantastic job and tried to do her best been to plenty of bowling alleys this one was a disaster. The girl behind the counter was great. I hope she gets paid well. If not, she should leave this job and find another career because it seems like the owner doesn’t give two shits we will never go back to this bowling alley again. Also they should get new bowling shoes those things look like they’ve been there since the place opened up and I know this bowling alley’s been there for years shame on you thank God I bought an extra pair of socks. I changed my socks after the use of the shoes and threw them away.Don’t know how this place stays in business so I don’t recommend this place to anyone again I want to thank the girl in the food court that did a great job and tried her best and the manager. She sucks. And if the owner sees this review, you should sit down with your employees to find out Can give better customer service also hire a Cook and get them gloves so when they handle the food, they don’t touch the food directly and hairnets...
