I’m reviewing both as a customer and a seller. First of all, this is currently my favorite place to shop for clothes. Most of the time I find a few beautiful pieces at a VERY good price. Once I found a dress for $7 I purchased elsewhere for $70. I’ve also find worn-once clothes for super cheap. I’ve been able to slowly update my wardrobe for a fraction of the price. But like every other thrift store, there are disadvantages. I’ve seen people sell new with tags items for way more than the price on the original tag. I’ve also seen stained or damaged items priced closely to the original, brand new price. I always “inspect” all the items in my basket to make sure they’re not damaged. Their dressing rooms are okay. I wish they had better lighting and a system so people know you’re there. I’ve had people open the curtains while I’m trying clothes on several times. This places caters mostly to women and children, but my husband has found a few items he absolutely loves. As a seller, I had a good experience. Setting up my booth was easy, but it was crowded. Everyone has the same 3-hour window to set up, but it’s not as easy as it sounds. It’s very difficult to move around when everyone has their boxes of items next to them. As for their Instagram page, I felt that they promoted some booths way more than others, but they did promote 2-3 of my items throughout the week, which was awesome. Picking up my left-over items was a breeze. No big crowd and super easy. And then I received my payout two days later on Venmo. Overall, a great place that needs a few improvements. Will continue to buy from here, and sell too in the future. An amazing place to get good quality clothes and make some extra cash instead of going to DI or spending too much time selling in FB...
Read moreOk I love the atmosphere of this store. The concept is great even though all the reviews have established that it wasn’t an original idea, the store is still very well done and deserves that acknowledgement. I’ve made great money selling here but I do have a few annoyances.
It’s almost impossible to keep track of your own stuff. There is always stuff left in my booth that doesn’t belong, and i’ll also find my items in someone else’s booth. So when it comes to take down, there is no monitoring if someone takes your item home with them because it was left in their booth. There is also no way to monitor if you’re receiving the correct payout.
The instagram highlights have no system whatsoever. They will highlight the same booth and the same “lucky find” item 3 days in a row but then there will be booths that never get a highlight or photo at all. It would be nice to see every booth highlighted one time before Thursday and then for Friday to be a day of randomly rehighlighting what goodies are still left. It would be nice to see more than just two hours a day worth of highlights.
Lasty, getting in the door on Saturday morning for booth set up takes a really long time. And then if you need to go in/out, you have to squeeze past everyone still standing in line holding their big bins and totes. I suggest maybe having 2-3 employees checking people in with the clipboard to make...
