I've had coffee from Bea Blessed Bakery, a soda from Garden Square Cafe which also has convenience store items and tourist trinkets and postcards, David's Burgers which is the local chain with great service.
There's a nice restroom that you can enter from the pavilion between the market and the Riverfront Park.
It's a lively place for people watching.
There are TV's with the news on (I would rather they replace that programming with something less divisive like segments that focus on local events and history worth highlighting as well as weather and sports).
The area is well policed not that there is any crime risk that I have seen.
It's like food trucks but inside.
There is a bicycle rental service there too.
It closes early around 3 but downtowns just are often not utilized as much as they could be in general so that's understandable.
