Learn moreCame there during a DoorDash delivery for my first time and the way the staff handles the Drivers is not professional. I waited in line for 10 minutes before the man behind the counter told me to go into the next line so that the lady can handle the delivery. Instead a lady behind me was taken care of by the man and the same lady ended up being served her order first after I was waiting almost 5 minutes in the other line! Remind you the place wasn't even busy yet and the lady behind the counter didn't even look at me or acknowledge my presence.
Another person that wasn't even there when I arrived ended up getting his plate as well and still no acknowledgement. Then finally, with a bad attitude she asked if I was there for a delivery. If her job was to get me angry well, nobody in the universe not even the creator wouldn't want to be treated like that without them being angry.
MIND YOU, I DID NOT GIVE ANY BAD ATTITUDE TO THESE PEOPLE JUST EXPRESSED A SIGH OF RELIEF WHEN IT WAS FINALLY MY TURN.
This was my first time here and I don't know the lady, never seen her before, never caused any problems that I know of at her business.
Anyways, I was confused as she started asking me or telling me what was on the order and I quickly turned my phone semi-around as I was reading off to her what was on the customer's order. Then unexpectedly she got smart with me and said and I quote "I'm not asking you what's on the order..."
At that point I was really confused because she was speaking to be at first with an unsure tone of what was on the order.
Moving forward, she starts shoving the food in the bag. At this point I knew something behind the scenes was going on because with an attitude like that after serving two other customers with a great attitude, me waiting 20 minutes at their business, being moved around, lack of acknowledgment by the lady, not being a Little Rock resident, never seeing them before, and my first time being there, there is no other way to conclude.

I don't appreciate spending my hard earned money to receive the hurtful customer service from the cashier and under-cooked, dry, and almost season less food.
I believe that I was stereotyped by the cashier because I didn't appear to be a part of the so-called middle-class or corporate world (how disgusted the late great Karl Marx would be). She would be surprised of who I really am though. They say to never judge a book by its cover. She barely greeted me from the door. However, when other people came in, a broad smile and colossal hello came upon her lips.
When I politely asked when the fish that I had paid her in cash to eat would be ready, I noticed that her expression went cold. She didn't show me the human respect to smile and say, "We will have it soon, Miss.'" Yet, she nearly sprinted to a customer who was seated. Then apologized for the delay.
When I finally received the food, it was unappealing. The Mac and Cheese was dry, the fish had no herbal seasoning. Worst of all, some of the dry yams had black rotten spots on them.
How dare you treat me as if I am beneath you after you take my money for disgusting food. I chose to leave because I didn't want to experience any more of the cashier's rude expressions. She seemed to have an attitude when I asked for two salts. She passed me one with a smug look. I paid fourteen dollars.
Always remember something that is true:
You reap what you sow, which is the Hindu Version of Karma. You never treat people like they are less than when Christ has allowed you such sucess....
Read moreOh I have been waiting to write this review. I was with my sons, who are in their 20s, when we picked up the heavenly BBQ scent. My sons asked if we could stop for food but we had just recently had food. Matter a fact, we had BBQ the day before but this was something different right here. This was top tier BBQ. The meal was only 51, I believe, for all three of us (before tip). That's prepandemic prices right there! They ordered brisket, me the pulled pork. Everything was delicious, pronounced natural smoke flavor, nothing was dry, meat was tender, and my son's ate those sandwiches so fast! For sides, they had Mac and cheese and I had cabbage and sweet potatoes. Portions were generous. I regret not getting the potato salad but my schoicwnof sides were still incredible. I have to go back to try them all. The aroma that fills the air around this restaurant is just hypnotic. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The line moves fast, and you know a place like this will have a line! Plenty of seating both inside...
