I have been to this place for many owners. They have it fixed up nice. It's a great atmosphere. I don't drink alcohol so I chose a Non- alcoholic option of an alcoholic cocktail. It was a 4 oz tiny glass and they still charged $13, the same as the alcoholic option. This surprised me. It was not even garnished! The service was great and the food was tasty; However, it was tapas, which is small plates to share. There were four of us there. We shared nine small plates. Sadly, I left hungry. The alcoholic beverages were the most expensive I've ever seen. One of the martinis was $25 + tax and tip! My husband and I had no alcohol, our half of the bill was still a $165. (We did tip heavy). Probably not the place for us. But nice if you don't mind spending a lot of money for not a lot of food and drinks. I certainly wish the new owners good luck and hope they make it in this economy! I know the restaurant business well and I realize it's a...
Read moreWe've had many excellent meals at Sour's, Google isn't allowing me to have too long a post to go on and on but I can't say enough about the delicious food, phenomenal drinks, fantastic service and atmosphere. We spent our New Year Eve at Sour's and we were absolutely blown away by how delicious all of the food was, and absolutely phenomenal, I can't even find words to describe some of the dishes we had, but truly mind blowing and ranking with top New York City restaurants that I used to frequent. The drinks were also phenomenal, maybe the best Old Fashioned anywhere. The service was perfect. The atmosphere was excellent, fun, clean, comfortable ... I couldn't have imagined a better meal!!

Read moreThis place should get a six star rating. We were visiting from New York City--home of some of the best restaurants in the world and all around foodie paradise--and Sour's is one of the best restaurants I've EVER eaten in. Whether in NYC, San Diego, Paris, Barcelona, Athens or Crete (where the owner's family is from), I've been all over the world and had comparable food but none better! The Crispy Lamb Belly should be required eating for anyone who has ever cared about food. The beet salad was common fare but as good as it comes. The brussel sprouts were absolutely amazing. The salmon was outstanding. According to the menu, the restaurant sources its food from local providers and it shows. Good ingredients mixed with a chef who truly understands how to put his flavors together results in a meal you will not forget. What more...
