If you are a cinema lover this isnât the place for you. My first ever job 13 years ago was at a movie theater and in all my time there we never ran things the way theyâre running it now. No one to take tickets, so easy to take advantage of. No one doing rounds to make sure the theaters are safe and quiet. You have last minute sweeps of theaters so youâll be waiting in a line outside until right before showtime. The prices donât compete with Corbin. Also- the screen quality is sub-par. Did they buy a projector from the 80s? None of this is from lack of staff. Youâve got 6-7 people at the counter. My group is let down, to say the least. If you enjoy sidebar talking and obnoxious behavior this is the place for you and from a business owners perspective itâs a sinking ship even with the new paint and floors. If youâre gonna make people spend money like that in this economy you really need to make...
Read moreThis theater is very disappointing. I don't know if it's the management or ownership but it's not worth the time and money to go to it. It has a musky smell as soon as you walk in the doors. I've been to matinees right when they've opened and to shows at night and it's always nasty. The floors in the theaters are so nasty and sticky from where I assume they never get cleaned. The last time we were there my sandal got stuck to the floor and my foot came completely out of it as the sandal remained stuck to the floor... I mean seriously?! I can't give a review on the concessions because I find it to nasty of a place to even consider eating there. We started driving on down to Corbin and go to Tri-County Cineplex, everything's clean and the employees seem more polite and it's well worth the trouble of going...

London is not a bustling metropolis. Itâs a medium sized community, although it is expanding quite rapidly. This is exactly the type of cinematic experience I expect in a community of this size. The employees are friendly, you can get a ticket, medium popcorn and large drink for 1/2 the price of more âmodernâ locations, and the experience is no less immersive.
If you want the âexperience â of watching a film in a 30 screen, multi-million dollar venue this is not the place to go. Keep in mind, that experience will cost you 3 times as much and you will have to drive 6 hours round trip to have it.
This is a hometown cinema. Quaint and cozy. Itâs not a lesser experience, just a different one.
5 starts. Keep up the good work...
