9 hole executive golf at its finest. Played here numerous times, and absolutely cannot get enough of the layout. Each hole feels completely unique, and with three par 4's (albeit short drivable ones), it really serves as a stepping stone for golfers looking to make a step into a bigger course. Something about the feel of this course is very addicting, and it has a rare duality of not only being challenging, but a great stop for beginners. There is no driving range (simply no space), but it does have a practice putting area, and you stop by the clubhouse after the third hole, which is great for grabbing a drink or snack on a hot day. Never had any issues with service; all the guys in the clubhouse are very friendly and accommodating. Conditions are great for executive golf; nothing amazing, but it's well kept, especially in an area that is ruthlessly starving for water. The only real con? It's 9 holes. This means everyone starts on Hole 1, and on busy days, it can be tough to get through quickly, especially since it attracts beginners. Obviously you can't hold anyone responsible for this though - it is what it is. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone. I have a few scratch handicapper friends that I play with constantly, and we all love...
Read morePlay here a few times a year. They have a few holes you can swing driver which is nice. Course is kinda rugged and worn, greens are very slow. I think more people go for the updated food they now serve from there kitchen, have not had any to speak of but reviews are great and alot of people there just to eat. On a good day you can play this course in under 2 hours. So since my previous post listed above my wife and I went for the infamous bacon jam burger and unknown sides that are served different on a daily basis. WOW Dave (the chef) did not disappoint. Tried, "The Dirty" too another burger I must say these burgers are cooked to order and on point!! Top 3 burgers I have ever had. This place is quaint and small which makes it all that much better...he works out of a low end 9 hole golf course for God sakes but I was not disappointed and will be going back. Gave us some samples of white bean chilli, I know you come by and he will give you a sample of something he is cooking up. 5 stars for the food 3...
Read moreI would stay away from Bixby, I have played here multiple times and am now finally writing a review. The course is not maintained well at all for the prices I have paid. The bunkers don't have sand in them its just hard dirt. Every time I go up to the clubhouse the person behind the desk is extremely rude for absolutely no reason. Today he made snarky comments at me all because I asked about the cart prices. I have played tons of courses where they charge per person when buying a cart. I spent $40 today for nine holes and a cart. Oh, and to make things worse my bag fell off the cart 4 times because neither of the straps would hold my bag in. Absolutely ridiculous. Never...
