Location is great, vibe is very odd. Upon checkin on a Friday at about 3:30pm, we noticed a cute bar that looked closed. We were given vouchers for a free drink at either this bar or nearby wave, and we're told happy hour at the hotel bar started at 3. No action yet, so we went upstairs for a bit to settle in. We came down a bit after 6 to a dark bar. The front desk person yelled out to ask if we needed help, then yelled out that the bar "closed early tonight". It seemed the bar never opened. The lobby was interesting, with eye catching art and fixtures. The room felt cold and stark. It was large and there was no warmth, very little decor. Our comforter had "bungalow 2" written on it in marker! We have visited many hotels for work and pleasure, but haven't quite encountered anything like this. We needed water late at night and they were gracious and generous with bottles. Parking is $30 per day

Like a studio apartment with a fireplace. Love the decor. Bathroom is open plan not much privacy. Shower head is a rain shower with extremely high pressure, had to cover my chest. Not for toddlers I'd assume most kids would not approve haha. Maybe it was just our room? If you're planning on not washing your hair, bring a wrap. There were other families staying here, some with dogs. We wanted to bring ours as they allow pets for a fee but we knew we'd be in and out of the room. Lots of great bars and restaurants in the area. The bar in the lobby is unfortunately closed at this time. Free parking in the deck with a pass. Staff is very nice, friendly, and caring. The wave spa is their sister company which has the amenities like a gym and spa and pool that bungalow offers free access to. Wishing we stayed here for warmer weather! I had a great time, thank you!

We stayed for two nights. Bed was comfortable, room spacious. Keeping in mind our stay was peak-season, August, we still felt the Pricing and Value were a mix match. The walls are thin, foot traffic from above was annoying. The Free breakfast was a disappointment. Minimal offering, the Bagels and English muffins were stale, yogurts past expiration date. No napkins or paper towels available. We requested some napkins, the cleaning attendant gave us one sheet each from a roll she had. When I pay a Premium for accommodations, I expect a lot more, this was unacceptable. Broken knobs on the bathroom vanity, and garbage left in our room from the previous guest sends a message they don't care. To leave this on an Up Note, everything is within walking distance and there are some very good Restaurants in the Pier Village.
