We came here at 8:45 am and got our order in immediately - they told us the wait for the food might be 20-30 mins. We ordered two bagels with cream cheese and a Wilbur skillet. We waited for 20 mins and asked them if the food was ready yet, and they said they were making it now. Then another 10 minutes past, we asked them again and they were still “making it”. Then another 10 minutes past, they were packing it now. Then another 4 minutes past, they only have my Wilbur skillet and the bagels with cream cheese weren’t ready yet - does that make any sense? The bagels that you can toast it for 1 minute is not ready yet but the Wilbur skillet, one of the restaurant’s specialty, is already ready. The bagels was ready a few minutes later - this was about one hour after the order was in. Just to be fair, other people also had the same problem so it wasn’t just us. Anyway, the Wilbur skillet was not hot or even warm while the bagel is warmed and toasted. Overall we didn’t like the experience one bit.

During my recent visit to Turning Point of Long Branch, I found the experience to be a mix of delightful and disappointing elements. The restaurant boasts a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a leisurely brunch by the ocean. The menu offers an eclectic array of breakfast and lunch options, catering to diverse palates. The food quality was commendable; my meal was fresh and flavorful, reflecting the establishment's commitment to using quality ingredients. The coffee was particularly noteworthy, providing a rich and satisfying complement to the meal. However, the service left much to be desired. Despite the restaurant not being overly crowded, I experienced extended periods of being unattended, and the overall service was notably slow. This detracted from the otherwise pleasant dining experience. In summary, while Turning Point of Long Branch excels in ambiance and culinary offerings, improvements in service efficiency and attentiveness are needed.

From the moment we arrived, Lorelei made our entire experience unforgettable. She was not only incredibly welcoming and kind, but went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable, cared for, and truly at home. Her energy was warm, genuine, and attentive, the kind of presence that instantly lifts your mood. Lorelei anticipated our needs before we even asked, offered great suggestions, and made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table. Whether it was making sure our seating was perfect, or simply checking in with the sweetest smile, she did it all with grace and heart. You can tell she loves what she does, and it shows in every interaction. Lorelei didn’t just serve us, she made our day. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we’ll come back (mostly to see her again!). Thank you, Lorelei, for your kindness, care, and radiant spirit. You’re a gem!

Whenever I am in town, I have to stop at Turning Point. I have visited this restaurant for many years and it doesn't disappoint. I waited 10 minutes to be seated. They have great coffee☕️. In the spirit of the autumn season, I tried the pumpkin chai latte and it was quite tasty. I also tried a piece of my friend's pumpkin pancakes and it was really good. You won't need to add any syrup to it. I ordered the Breakfast combo which is affordable and it is very filling. I like that you can swap the potatoes for a salad. I also tried the Annie's Lemonade. It is thick like a smoothie but very refreshing and delicious 😋. I would recommend this place for breakfast/brunch. I am looking forward to coming back again.

The servers are super friendly and welcoming!! When I came we had to wait only 15 minutes even though the place was packed! Also when there was bacon in my dish and I didn’t know they double checked if it was ok with me!! The food is amazing!! And so are the drinks!! As a child they made it really hard to choose the dish since they are all really unique and creative!!! I will definitely be back soon!!! ❤️ Highly recommend berry banana shake and every thing that has lobster in it on their menu especially the lobster Mac and cheese and the lobster avocado toast!!! All of these little things make this restaurant perfect like even the bathroom is sanitary and clean!!! I love it!! Thanks for the best food so far!!!
