I used to loved this place. It's so sad to see that the waiters don't serve you with kindness and respect. I understand that two people to serve so many people must be complicated, but at least the kindness and attention should be constant. The food was good, however we ordered some dishes to share and we didn't have cutlery, we spent 25 minutes trying to get help to get cutlery, they just ignored us. We wanted to order more drinks and food but it wasn't possible, we literally stood in front of the waiters and they didn't want to serve us. We gave up on the idea and thought they were too busy but they didn't even apologize or tell us to wait a little. It was so obvious that someone next to our table offered to help us order because they thought we didn't speak English and that's why they wouldn't serve us. It was humiliating. I will not visit this place again. I was very sad and upset with the attitude of these waiters. Customer service is the key. In the past I spent good times there with my family. And I was thinking of taking them there when they returned, but I am not going to go through another anger and bad treatment. Ahhhh and the moment they took our food order they immediately asked for our card. I thought the normal procedure was to place the order, bring the food to the table and then request payment. Definitely unpleasant waiters. // Answer: I meant bartenders. Yes, Lana… formerly called Wine Loft, we felt so bad that I don't want to go back there. I read some reviews and another person was discriminated against there. We're sure the bartenders...
Read morePretty disappointed on the way the management handled an incident this past Thursday. I’ve attended an Open Decks event hosted by Make Jersey House Again a solid 3-4 times and haven’t had an issue until this past Thursday. The night was going really good but one of my friend’s girlfriend was groped by an individual there and apparently he did that to 3 women total that night. I have zero tolerance against that type of behavior so I had to step in and say something to the individual. Things got heated when he got in my face so naturally I pushed him away from me then things escalated. A fake bouncer that was in regular clothing that no one knew that he was a bouncer separated the situation but apparently he’s close friends with the pervert. The open decks event had to be temporarily paused so the situation can be diffused but my friend has his people in the Police department so they were called out so the individual can be removed. Apparently the bartender Nick confirmed that individual has been there before with no issues and that the “bouncer” works there as well but funny enough the following day I saw a different friend that has been there before and he described the individual accurately stating that he tried to do make advancements towards his girl as well. Ladies if you decide to give this place a shot be on the look out for a 6’0-6’2, slim build, short hair, black male. I’m glad I was the first one to actually stand up to nonsense like that because imagine how many people that didn’t want to speak up? The venue is actually cool esthetic wise....
