Pretty surprised on the good reviews cause our experience was horrible. We went on July 22 at around 7pm, hungry from a day at the beach and with a 17m old, we walked around the pier village deciding on where to go, ultimately decided here as they had a sign for a delicious sounding pineapple burger - its what drew us in. It took almost 20min for someone to come take our order, I had to request for someone to come because they just wouldnât. None of the servers knew English, and I mean none. I asked what came inside the burger and they couldnât answer me, one server called the next and still no to very little english. Another guy served us as well and also very little English. The food was absolutely nothing great. The two burgers although different quite frankly, tasted and looked the same. The pattys are thin and have no flavor. The fries are seasoned with sweet seasoning which is different but can definitely throw you off. No one came to check on us or ask how things were. And to top it off when it came to paying no one would come to take our card. I had to go to their pick up section and kept being ignored, I was beyond frustrated from the overall experience that I took my card and just left cash on the table for the bill and left. The employees were turning away people because they were âtoo busyâ someone was waiting on an order and was told they couldnât sit. I have never felt so frustrated at a restaurant before or had this type of service. We came back to the beach 2 weeks after and made a better choice to choose a better restaurant near by. Definitely would...

We recently visited this restaurant with the intention of ordering food to go, as we planned to enjoy our meal at the beach. Traveling with a toddler, we understand that plans can change unexpectedly, and this was one of those times. After receiving our takeout order, our son wanted to stay in the restaurant a bit longer, so my husband was starving and decided to start his burger there.
Unfortunately, a young woman approached us and asked us to leave, stating that we couldn't eat our takeout in the restaurant. My husband, who was polite throughout, simply asked why, to which she replied dismissively that it was just a restaurant rule. We didn't want to make a fuss, so we prepared to leave. However, another woman, much kinder, told us it was fine and that we could stay.
So, what was this supposed rule that could be so easily bent a minute later? It seems there wasn't a real rule at all, just a convenient request made by someone who didnât want us there.
It's worth noting that we had paid for the service and the place was almost empty, yet we were made to feel unwelcome. I now understand why this place has a 3.5 rating. While the food was fine, I cannot recommend this place based on our experience. We felt singled out and treated with unnecessary...
Read moreFor drinks my party got an island mule which was a bit strong for my liking. The mahalo which was okay not my thing. And pina colada shake that was very good and flavorful. For appys we got Hawaiian nachos with chicken, coconut shrimp with pinapple salsa and mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was horrible. At first It tasted like a lighter version of movie theatre cheese at but then gets bland and flavorless. The nachos were probably the best appy but even then it was not the best. The chicken didnât taste good either. I didnât try the shrimp but my in laws said it was the best appy that we had. For entrees we got 2 alphas, 2 mainland, and coco burgers. They did not check in how the burgers were or how we liked them cooked. My family was VERY disappointed. The burgers had no seasoning or flavor for the mainland. The coco my bf was not a fan of. My inlaws were disappointed as well. The staff was kind. The atmosphere had good music. Also the fries sucked. We did not like them. For the price we payed it was overpriced. Save your money and go...
