Lazer X In Longview — Attraction in Longview

Went and played laser tag at this place and we had a great time! The guys there were quite helpful and frankly were fun. They answered the questions we had and even ones we didn’t know we had. Offered help while playing as well. The arcade is old school and fun. It’s set up a bit differently than most, but they explained that as well.

I must say I was surprised after reading reviews here I wasn’t sure about it, as they are quite mixed. So I decided to check it out in person so very glad I did!!!

I talked to the guy behind the counter, turns out he’s the owner, I told him about my hesitation and he just shook his head and chuckled and thanked me for being brave and bringing the kids. I was curious and asked him about the bad reviews. He said they are mostly revenge reviews. He explained that those are reviews left by people who ran afoul of behavior expectations and were called out about it. He said Google is difficult to work with regarding these types of reviews.

So I thought I’d leave my review with what I learned with a personal visit. I guess if you act right and not like a jerk you’re probably gonna have...

I would not even give this place one star but I had to give something in order to write the review. The owner of this establishment is extremely rude and arrogant. He was 7 minutes late opening the door for us to go in and decorate for my 7 year old granddaughter's birthday party. That left us 8 minutes to decorate (he only allows 15 minutes). Then, even after the late start, he would not let one of the children in the game cause she was TWO minutes late. Now, the game had not even started for our kids (remember HE was late opening the door). But he has a hard set rule that no one checking in late will not play the scheduled game. But it's okay for him to be late. Then when I went to go and try to negotiate with him, he was the most arrogant man I have ever dealt with. There was no getting him to work with us at all. He was so rude and harsh that our kids got upset and he never once apologized for upsetting the kids. I will NEVER go back to this place. It is so ran down, half the arcade games did not even work. It desperately needs to be updated. Worst business I have...

First time going to this establishment today. Don't plan on returning. The staff is obnoxious and rude, which I might understand if they were young but these were grown men. The place is run down out of date for 100$ I would expect a decently clean bathroom. The bathroom both men and women's was absolutely disgusting. Considering we arrived around 4pm and there was no other patrons there upon arrival as well as when we left the staff had time to clean bathrooms. The arcade if that is what you call it is a joke and waist of money I don't think anything have been updated since 2000.
