Shoup Park is a great park in Los Altos. Amenities such as bathrooms are available and seem to be kept clean at all times. Parking is available and plentiful.

It has two playground areas - one for 2-5 year olds and the other for older kids. Both playgrounds are close to each other. In the 2-5 year old playground area - there is a sand pit with two diggers that you can play with as well as as a see-saw. There are many seats around the small children playground as well as picnic table. In the older playground, just around the corner, you have higher and taller slides and monkey bars.

Shoup Park also boasts a creek nearby and is great for water play. So, bring along your rain boots. Seats and picnic tables line around the walkway. Shoup Park also connects to the Redwood Grove just...

Great park, brought my kids here after reading reviews and yes it lives up to the 5 star. Clean restroom, clean park, friendly visitors, and my goodness great area with shades to sit and have a peacefully picnic with family and friends. 2 playgrounds regard to parking even with many visitors you're bound to find a spot, I mean I did. However the area with the water stream is dried of course so if that's what you wanted to see it is dried at least time I went which was last week statue is cool as well. Even though people bring there dog over everyone is responsible to pick up after themselves to keep it clean for others... So please be as...

Great playground for toddlers with a large sandbox, but the second playground for larger kids doesn't have enough shade and can get very hot. There is plenty of well-shaded grass, and several picnic tables. There is one large group area available for reservations. There's a creek, which runs during spring and early summer. Some sections can be quite a bit deeper than 6" and smaller waders should be supervised until they get the hang of the creek. Larger waders will likely enjoy "exploring" upstream, there is a second park a few bends away, the nature preserve Redwood Grove. A path has also been built between the two parks, for anyone feeling less...

A perfect destination for parents of small kids. There are two play structures with sand for soft landing. The structure inside is for older kids. There is a huge grass oval, perfect for picnics. On the back right of the park is a statue of a veteran, worth reflecting on. If your kids are older, take the across the road to the redwood Grove to see some truly magnificent trees.

Great park for kids! This park is great, took my niece and nephew there (twice in as many days it was so fun). There are two play structures at the park, lots of benches and shade for the younger ones. A small stream is flowing right now due to the recent rains and it completely captivated my nephew. There are restrooms (although we didn't go in), and the park is dog friendly.
