We normally do not post our opinions but we want to for Los Altos True Value Hardware. They are a wonderful "local" store and provide good "old-fashion service". Those three are NOT seen much at all today so when a place is truly helpful, has good supplies, great hours and a pleasant staff, we want them to stay in business!!!! They seem to be busy at the times we have been there but we want to spread the word.

Please shop at Los Altos True Value Hardware where the customer is treated with utmost respect...

The staff makes it amazing, but this tiny looking shop from the outside packs a lot in. I've not had a problem finding what I needed and I've been here a lot. I'm always surprised with how they can have such a wide selection!

It helps that they are so close to anyone around Los Altos, you don't have to go all the way to Cupertino or Sunnyvale to get what you need. If they weren't here, I would probably be getting things from Amazon. Thank you folks for making it an...

The best service ever! My car fob died just as I was about to start a long distance trip early one morning. The owner tried to open the case, then searched YouTube and finally replaced the dead battery all for the low cost of the battery! He didn’t have to, but seeing I was desperate, he helped because he could. We’ve always come here for our hardware needs before, but after this experience, want to give a shout out for this neighborhood...
