My pixel 4a screen was cracked so I took it to this shop. Daniel took a look at the phone and told me they could do a screen replacement for $130 + $50 labor. Few days later, the part arrived, and I got my screen replaced. Worked great for about 2 weeks. Then one day suddenly, two thirds of the screen goes blank and there's a crack in one corner of the new display two thirds of the way from top. On closer examination, the top part of the screen is coming off, and as a result most likely, there was shear stress on the screen while in my pocket, and that's why it cracked where it did. The cause should be obvious to anybody who works with screens.
Daniel said he'd have to check with his manager, but the manager outright refused to do anything about it, other than waive labor on a new screen order. He didn't even bother to get to the facts, even though Daniel himself said to him, in my presence, he was pressed for time when he did the job. Then came multiple new excuses -- that the phone's corner was too damaged for the new screen to ever sit properly, that I should have had a case for the phone after the new screen went in, that I should have waited for a long time before using the phone -- none of which were ever mentioned to me the first time. Then the manager pretty much insinuated that I must have cracked my screen again, and was making it their problem. I bet Daniel got a talking to after I left to never ever admit anything in front of a customer. Lol.
Their poor workmanship cost me $180. What's worse, I can't even use the phone as a backup anymore. When I took it to them first, at least I could see the display. I still can't believe they didn't take ANY responsibility for it. They didn't even refund me the $50 of labor that made the phone worse than it was...

I was sold a 3 year old phone as if it were a new phone when it is no longer being sold by other Verizon stores. No cover was available for my phone and I came back 3 times to get a new cover and each time was told that they would get one. I dropped and broke my phone. At that point, I found out that I could have gotten a cover online. However that was never mentioned to me before. I know I could have looked online but each time I went in they said that they would get one. When I broke my phone, they wouldn't replace it until I threatened to hand out these fliers. Then they did for which I thanked them. At the same time as I bought the phone, I bought a tablet to use as a mobile "hotspot", to get wifi to my computer. I later found out through someone else, that I could use my smartphone as a mobile hotspot. I also didn't know that and the store didn't tell me. When I found out that I could use my phone as a hotspot, I took my tablet back, but the store would not take it back because the 14 day return policy had expired. AND ONLY THE EMPLOYEE MICHAEL, SAID HE COULD SEE MY SIDE. AND NO ONE EVER APOLOGIZED FOR ANY OF THEIR LACK OF GIVING ME KNOWLEDGE. AND if that weren't enough, they took my license for identification and I lost my last name. I became David Michael instead of David Roos AND they couldn't transfer the pictures on my wife's iPhone 5 to her new iPhone 6. She was quite unhappy. I used my mac at home to get her pictures on her new phone.
I feel they messed up numerous times in their dealing with me. Both the manager and an assistant were involved. There is a real Verizon store a mile away on El Camino. Go there, not here.
AND ALL I WANT IS FOR THIS STORE TO TAKE...
Read moreI went to the click away in Sunnyvale to ask about an issue with my laptop storage and asked how much it would cost me. I talked to a guy and he said that it would cost me $100 for every hour that the laptop is in the store. After hearing that, I checked the website and the description said that the diagnostic would be free and the fee for repairs only started at $50. So after a week I went to check out the click away store in Los Altos and talked to the people there and they said that they would check out the laptop for free and the issue was probably an easy fix. So I left the laptop there overnight and they called me the next day saying that they checked the laptop and it just needed to be updated and the fix would only cost me $50. So everything was working fine until the next morning my laptop wouldn't turn on so I called them and asked why this was happening. I talked to this guy named Tony and he said that there was probably a hiccup in the windows system and it probably needed to be reinstalled. When I asked him how much that would cost me he said it would cost me $150. 150 DOLLARS TO FIX A PROBLEM THEY SAID THEY HAD ALREADY FIXED, NOT TO MENTION YOU CAN JUST DO IT YOURSELF FOR WAY LESS. Very disappointed and I wished that I just did it myself and saved my self 50$ Also don't recommend going to the store in Sunnyvale because they will probably scam you. Not sure what the issue with my laptop was but the people at the Los Altos location...
