But the clerk brought me another shoe from the warehouse and showed it to me. Then I felt a little offended. And the clerk asked for an address to order online, so I said I wanted to pick it up at the Los Altos store.    Read moreI went into the Los Altos store yesterday with my $20 reward certificate in hand. Kevin immediately welcomed me upon my arrival and was right near anytime I had a question. I noticed that the inventory of handbags had been expanded and that some clothing options are also now available. During checkout, Kevin noticed that I had an additional $15 unused certificate in my account which he then added to my $20 one. Adjustment Qs this and that to fine tune what my want is -- then he walks back with shoes and does the fit and rings them up. I was out the door in 25 minutes total.
Lesson: Walk in shoes and listen for weird noise before you buy them: every, single, time.
