Came here for a night of live music and had a great time. The space is small, so you're super close to the performers -- love it for local bands!
The bar is super affordable and the staff is great! The whole place has a very punk/grunge dive bar feel, which I love. I didn't play pool, but there were 8 tables that all looked taken care of.
The only downside of this venue is the men's restroom... which is honestly bad. Somehow succeeding at being both cramped and awkwardly open when you're peeing into the trough right next to the hilariously tiny DIY 'door'.
It wasn't enough for me to take off a point, but I could see this being a deal...

Expensive pool (Cali downtown cost) and didn't notice anything but non-pool players. $20 an hour is stupid just for pool but I think I just got ripped off instead since I'm not from here and will never go back. Was not warm or welcoming. Hard to find parking. Beers are cheap because maybe that's what it's mainly for... Plenty of tables but not good. If you're not a dedicated pool player, this is a perfect place to chill. If you are, then check out Mr. Luckys...
Read morePretty cool venue being downtown LA not bad at all. I would expect the worst but they had everything I could possibly imagine for sale and I mean everything which is pretty cool billiards. You can play good beer on tap live bands that you can get up close to watch everybody seem to mind their business and not get out of control which is hard to find. Especially downtown LA pretty cool place...
