So .... I typically have little to nothing bad to say about the Goodwill stores i frequent because , well .. That's why I frequent them ...because I have no problem shopping there ....but this little satellite store deserves a bit of highlighting for what theyre pulling (so if you work at the Goodwill headquarters or main office and are reading this , hang on tight ....)
So the store has a good selection of items and the staff is friendly ....and even delightful, I'd say. I went on a Thursday and when i got to the register and announced that I had an exchange , the manager who started helping me told me two things: 1) that with the credit that I was to get for the items i was taking back to them ..that I could NOT purchase color of the week tagged items that were on sale for $1.99....that in essence i had to pay for those separately with cash or credit/debit. Her justification was that it was because then we would get "double discount." 🤯🤔🤨🤥 what ?! How do you figure that , Ms . Visiting Manager ma'am? She then went on to explain it further and it not only made less sense, but im embarrassed to reiterate what she said and waste your time reading it.
AND 2) THAT I was limited to the amt of exchanges I could process . more specifically , that there was a dollar amt limit when it came to what i was exchanging. This is when I asked what that dollar amt limit was and she replied "I think its 35 dollars." I retorted with "why?" And she , verbatim, said "its because this is not my store."
I stopped asking questions because i was full ---im talking no room for dessert !---on the BS I had been fed up until that point . CLEARLY this female extraordinaire depends on the nourishment of transparent lies that only work with banking on the fact that youre not a customer who knows the COMPANY WIDE policy.
So just imagine what happens when one's exchange consists of a pair of shoes I purchased at another store for $30 and a sweater for $15. It was like a cartoon you dont let your kids watch ; one that I participated in only for entertainment purposes ...to see how far the visiting manager human soul will go once its mounted and strapped onto its mule and has her credibility riding on it .
I didnt catch her name ....but she just might be visiting your neighborhood Goodwill ...her and her managerial skills. Feel free to place quotation marks wherever you'd...

Now some items are broken or missing critical pieces but have the same price tag as functioning items. Usually there are so many items crammed into the racks that you have to take something out to be able to view an item. Parts of the store are disorganized and dirty.
.A few days ago I found a coffee maker with a used coffee filter in the basket that was old coffee grounds covered in mold. I mentioned it to a security guard. I no it’s not his job but thought he might notify someone. He just said well that’s the Goodwill. Someone should call the health department. Really mold in the coffee maker on the shelves and no one cares.
I was waiting in line with several other customers. I had of me was a woman who’s credit card was declined three times. Finally, the woman texted her aunt in the car that she needed her to come in. Apparently the cashier didn’t think it was necessary to take the woman out of line and wait on all the other people waiting. So we all waited for the aunt to get the text, get out of her car and come into the store where she then had a conversation with her niece about what it was she was buying. All this well we all waited.
When I got to the front of the line, I asked a question and the cashier was so rude that I just put my items back and didn’t purchase anything. Last trip to...
Read moreI would not recommend this location. I've been going there once a week for over 2 years and in the last 12 months it is no longer like it used to be. The manager "Jackie" is rude to employees in front of customers. The items donated spend 3-4 months on the floor unable to sell because of the condition of the items and the high prices, higher than if you bought new. When approached a cashier she advised to contact corporate as "Jackie" will not listen to them. There is also a tall thin dark skinned woman that works there and was calling a new male employee "fat head". The male employee seemed to have a disability and I felt so bad for him. I never saw him again. This was a year ago. Also, a younger dark skinned female employee that goes and smokes in front of the store was asking this tall thin lady (2 weeks ago) for an "air fryer in a green box" that was in the back and she wishes she hid in the back because it's not there anymore and she really wanted it. The tall lady didn't reply to her just shrug her shoulder. The store under "Jackie's" rule is always dirty and messy and no new donated merchandise. I have photos to prove these items were there for moths unsold. Shoes with broken soles, dirty clothes hanging and more. Corporate needs to send a secret shopper and observe the behavior going on here. Will...
