We came from the east coast (normally sail out of Miami) for a cruise here. This has got to be the most disorganized port I have ever seen! We walked up to drop off 1 piece of baggage, only 2 other families there, and no porters to be seen anywhere! We got yelled at by a senior porter that we were suppose to be in a line (what line? Nobody told anyone that) then When a porter came out to the folks in line, they didn’t take anyone in any particular order and instead started taking folks who walked up after us (who were not in this mystery line). We waved cash around (for tip) like crazy and it still took us 30+ minutes just to drop off our one bag… even though we were second in line. I was totally prepared, had my bag tagged before I even got to port! Be prepared for chaos. I’m not sure we will ever sail out of...

This was the terminal’s first time handling a cruise ship of this size and volume, and you could tell they were still getting the hang of it. Some passengers were stuck in customs for up to two hours due to long lines and limited processing capacity.

Pro tip: hire a porter. For around $20 in tips, they’ll fast-track you through the system. With a porter, we cleared customs in just 15 minutes — totally worth it.

Despite the delays, I have to give credit where it’s due: the staff and immigration officers were polite, helpful, and kept their cool under pressure. Hopefully next time the process will be smoother, but the people on the ground were...

When off loading the luggage all my sister in law family( her, her husband and 2 kids) luggage got dropped into the water and port authority and Cruise ship are blaming each other when there are witnesses and video that proves its the port authority fault. My sister in laws luggage was completely lost under the dock so all the clothes and souvenirs are all gone. And shes getting the run around. Our family of 27 that took this cruise are pissed that its all going this way. Someone needs to take responsibility and get her compensated for what...

Fast and easy onboarding process. The baggage collection staff is fast and efficient, they took our luggage and ran it through customs. The entire process took about 45 minutes. The cruise terminal is about a 20 minute walk from Hertz and Enterprise if you’re dropping off a car.

Uber or any other drive app will not pick you up here you have to walk down to the battleship and pick you up there because if not it will give you a different position across the water.. and this is the entrance to get into the picking up area for those that aren't Uber drivers
