My husband and I recently held our wedding at Michael’s Tuscany Room. We fell in love with the ambiance of the venue! The staff was very professional and very attentive on our big day! We are very thankful for the staff and owners for being very kind!
We do wish there was a more affordable beef option for weddings; unfortunately with a large crowd like ours we were trying our best to find a middle ground in terms of half chicken and half beef-we were advised that for buffet option that wouldn’t be possible which is understandable because guest might want one of each and there wouldn’t be enough then! (We were on a tight budget)
The set up time for events are about 2 hours before the initial time slot. If it’s a DIY event good luck! We had to push our wedding an extra 30 min back to accommodate for guest arrival and finishing the set up.
Parking on Sundays is free; however, there is a restaurant across the street that had an event the same day as ours so keep parking in mind! Parking Monday through Saturday is Metered and not directly associated with MTR.
In terms of our Ceremony, We did let the venue know how many chairs to set up for our ceremony…Although 85% of our chairs were set up and the other 15% were behind a wall and some of our guest were left standing. But I’m not totally sure that there would have been enough room for the amount we requested.
After the ceremony we were told that we had to have all of our items taken out of the office. I get that there is an office there, however, it would be nice to have a designated area that bridal/bridal party and family can store their items! Once, our reception started my father in law informed me that they were having a meeting upstairs which made sense as to why we had to remove our items.
In terms of the reception: The food is great! All of our guest were happy about the quality of the pasta, chicken and the mashed potatoes.
Our wedding day had a lot of unexpected things occur. One of them being my veil falling off during my walk down the aisle. After the ceremony Zulema help set the veil which was very kind of her! She is a very nice lady and well experienced with weddings! Another unexpected event was on the day of our wedding A lot of our guest had cancelled due to the flu and Covid. The owners were very understanding of the situation. So we are super thankful for them for all their help!
Overall, we had a great time at our wedding and we are super thankful to Michaels Tuscany Room Staff and Owners! For potential clients in the future (specifically for weddings), please make sure you ask all the questions from A-Z to ensure there is no miscommunication regarding anything! The staff is top notch and the food is amazing! We hope you enjoy your next event at Michael’s Tuscany Room!

As the night came to a close, Monchi's thoughtfulness extended even further. He took the initiative to package our leftover catering and cake, allowing us to continue enjoying the festivities the next day.
Thanks to Monchi's exceptional service, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering dedication to ensuring our event was stress-free, we were able to fully immerse ourselves in our daughters celebration and create cherished memories.
Additionally, when Kelly discovered our cake hadn't been decorated she sprang into action, contacting the bakery to rectify the situation. Her proactive approach saved the day and ensured our cake looked as beautiful as we had envisioned.
Lastly, Zulema's timely reminder about cutting the cake was invaluable. Amidst the excitement of the evening, we had completely forgotten about this important tradition. Zulema's attention to detail and thoughtfulness ensured that we didn't miss out on a key moment of our celebration.

Read moreOur wedding at Michael’s Tuscany Room went amazing and we would highly recommend this venue! The venue is uniquely decorated with flowers and greenery and has a very romantic vibe. Because of this, it does not really require adding any decorations, which was great for us because we were on a budget. The only things we had to bring were centerpieces and some personalized décor that we wanted to have. We received lots of compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was! The food was delicious! It was very important to us that guests were served food at their table as opposed to waiting in line for a buffet-style dinner, and MTR’s offered that at no additional cost; their pricing was also the most reasonable compared to other venues we researched in the LA area. The drinks and bartenders were also great! All our guests loved the bar and said the drinks were delicious and made just right! As the wedding approached, we communicated mainly with Zulema, who was wonderful! She was so sweet, calm, and knowledgeable, and from the moment we met her, we felt she was just made for this industry! She responded promptly to everything we asked and really went above and beyond to make us feel that our wedding would go smoothly. The Monday before my Thursday wedding, I called the venue stressed because I had just realized we would have to set up our venue décor ourselves (preferably the day prior) due to an unexpected change with our day-of-coordinator. Kelly reassured me that it would be okay and planned for us to go the day prior since fortunately the venue was available that weekday. Zulema greeted us at the venue the day before the wedding and helped us set up.
