Today was the first time I ever came here for a massage. The guy at the front desk made me pay and leave a tip prior to even getting my service done. I am normally a big tipper, but left a $10.00 tip because I was turned off by the fact that they are requesting a tip before they even do the massage!!! After I paid and tipped, I went to the restroom, when I came back from the restroom, the woman who was going to do my massage, her name is Umaphon Petlam, was at the desk talking with the guy that I paid and he told me that I only left a $10.00 tip and Umaphon asked him to talk to me, because she wanted me to give her more tip since she was doing a 2 hour massage which I paid $120.00 for. I cannot believe the audacity. They were cutting into my massage time to question me about a tip for a service that I had not even received yet! I wanted to walk out, but they probably wouldn’t refund me. I ended up doing the massage, which was subpar. After the massage Umaphon said she would see me out front where she was waiting for me with her phone in hand and her Zelle QR code, asking me for more tip. I was irritated at this point and started to question their practice of collecting payment and tip BEFORE service, complaining about the amount of a TIP and requesting more. The guy at the front desk started acting like he doesn’t understand English, smiled and started playing on his phone. He whispered something in his language to one of the other massage ladies in the lobby and she and the other women were quiet and staring at me and Umaphon. I should have just walked out, but I went ahead a zelled her another $10.00. I normally tip $30-$40 for a massage. Had they done like every other massage place where you pay and tip after your services, maybe she would have gotten more. Although, her massage was poor. I do not recommend this place. There are better Thai massage spas in Los Angeles. I will not be returning and I will tell everyone I know to not spend their money at Pho-Siam Thai Spa. Poor customer service. Poor conditions in the shop. Poor massage by Umaphon Petlam. They are very...
Read moreThis place is very cool if you want to get quick massage. I like that fact that there all ladies that run the show there. But you guys just can't put anyone there work as massage therapist. You guys REALLY need to filter your employees please. Not all of them can't make the cut. I randomly go in there to get massages with my mother or by myself. But yesterday I had it with this place. Damn the little lady really fuk me up. She kept telling me sorry over n over but kept hurting me 🤕🤕🤕 not the business I was there to unwind not get hurt. N top of that you got to give them a tip. Or else they start with the unnecessary drama with the tip nonsense. I see it ALL times. It's not worth the drama over it. So easier to give up the tip. Cause you don't want them following you to the car for more unnecessary drama. 🤕😂😂 I think it's NOT cool for your employees to press your customers for tip after your massage. Especially when they did a horrible job. Quick tip ladies the whole purpose of a tip is that you did a great job and that they're willing to come back. Just saying but thank you again for the brutal massage I...
Read moreThe Appointment: Made the day before for a specific time. Booked easily. This may have been because I had no preference for a person since it was my first time.
The Service: Dermatological Facial, 60 min./$60. I had to pay this upfront at the desk (before services were rendered).
Parking: At the time of my visit -- plenty. Their small lot can accommodate up to eight cars; otherwise parking on the street could be a hit/miss depending on the time of your visit.
The Space (Environment): Quite relaxing. Dimmed lights. Tempered temperature. Soothing music.
The Treatment Process: My technician came out to greet me right on time. She directed me to the room and requested that I leave my shoes outside of the room. I didn't find anything wrong with this, but I guess some people are bothered by it. Then, she instructed me to put on a tube top-like smock (she left the room of course). When she returned, she began the process. Although she did not explain to me the actual steps in the process; the whole treatment was relaxing and I was satisfied with...
