Somerset Park — Attraction in Los Angeles

Separate little kids and big kids areas make this park fun to spend lots of time at. A big tree shades the big play structure in the hot hours of the afternoon and a fence separates the play area from the street (busy Carson). The area has sand but the main play structure has the spongy recycled rubber play surface under most of it. The slides are very very high and I've seen kids fall from them when they were horsing...

It's 930pm on November 19th! & the recreational workers just came to lock the restrooms. They just put a sign up that says no dogs allowed. Guess what there's dogs here loose, in the tennis area. I will be filing a complaint on the two worker's. To the man as well with the dogs everytime you have those dogs here loose, I will be calling police as well. I had a great experience with one of the parks and recreation worker name Walter Castillia. I visited Somerset Park to set up for a kids birthday party and was greeted by Mr.Castillia. Mr. Castillia took his time to pressure wash and clean the picnic area leaving it spotless for us to enjoy. Thank you so much Mr. Castillia for everything you do for the city...
