Bixby Classic Burger — Restaurant in Long Beach

The cheeseburger should be called a lettuce/onion burger because that was mostly what it consisted of. Maybe the double cheeseburger is better. Unusually long wait times for a simple burger joint. One customer left after waiting 15 minutes only to receive a messed up order. I cannot believe the man working behind the counter actually complained about that customer to me? Who complains about customers to other customers?? On top of that he said, and I quote “Relax it’s just a burger”. Really? “Just a burger” should be their slogan. Literally not worth your hard earned money. No cheese on a cheeseburger, undercooked, soggy onions, effortlessly made. Whoever told this guy he can make a decent burger was probably high as a kite.

EDIT: gave them 3 stars originally.. dropped to 1. They messed my order up they have like 3 burgers on the menu COME ON. Amateur hour...

A good buddy of mine introduced me to BIXBY CLASSIC BURGER. Definitely a diamond in the rough. Old school burgers, old school menú, and decent prices for the quality of the burger. I ended up getting a Bixby double with grilled onions ($7) and fries ($4). It's a classic cheeseburger adorned with lettuce, tomatoes, and ketchup and steak fries. Everything was cooked perfectly and super tasty.

If you don't feel like a burger, then go with the hotdog or whatever is on the special menu!

If you're in the area I would definitely drop by and support this local biz. ( There is also a little ice cream shop in the back if you want dessert...

Ok ok I Have got to say that this place is where it's at. The dude who I'm assuming is the owner ..hands down , he is just a cool dude. His helper is an awesome cook and I'm sure the owner is because he's got that big old trailer behind his truck and you don't have that thing if you don't cook or you could be a very wise enough with awesome ideas. Anyway back to my point. If you have never been I suggest you stop and try it at least once. I can guarantee that you will love it and you'll stop by again after that and so on and so forth.
