I love this butcher shop on a food level and ethical level! I was a vegetarian for over a decade and I still don't eat a lot of meat but when I do, I like to know I am supporting local farms with good farming practices. Believe it or not you can taste the difference between the meat (go figures that having a happier life means you taste better). If you aren't sure, get their chicken and compare it to others. Read moreWe popped in to buy meat for homemade Bolognese - we love how sustainable their meat selection is - but we stayed for the Burger Daddy pop up. It's the weekend-only burger stand from 11-3pm that takes place on the sidewalk. Order outside and then pay inside. Definitely on the list of best cheeseburgers I've had anywhere. A single costs $6 and a double is $9 so they're not exactly cheap given they're somewhere in size between a slider and a restaurant burger. BUT they're worth the price and then some.
