The night manager Frank needs hospitality training or find a different job that suets his selfishness to not maintain human kindness. He was horribly rude and spoke very condescending. He doesn’t treat you like a valuable guest and definitely doesn’t have the skill set to ensure a booking. If I wasn’t so tired after a 12 hour shift and a 5 1/2 hour drive. I would have taking him up on the cancellation threat. I prepaid and booked 3 days and 2 night which was guaranteed paid stay, regardless if I was physically there. Not to mention explaining that I’m in route, facing unexpected traffic due to construction and also a 5 car cash. Along with noting in the special accommodations comment section, that we can arrive as late as 1 am to 3 am due to unknown traffic. All Frank could do instead of showing understanding and common curtesy. Or simply say that we’ll see you when you get here and drive safely. Hell... he drilled me on how far was I. Excuse me, but do you stay open 24 hours with my money in your possession? He made threats and ultimatums. This is your manager who is representing your lodging, hospitality and stay? Better yet, expecting Frank to secure stays and not being flexible to unique circumstances is just cold hearted. Frank definitely accomplished a negative experience patronizing your establishment. Probably the worst hotel experience I’ve ever been through. It doesn’t take a lot to be nice to your guests. My mom dad sister and I stayed here for the dodger game last Saturday night. My brothers family was meeting us there to drop my dad off with us and has a little baby and came up to our room to change his baby’s diaper, use the bathroom, and take off - the game was at 4 and we’re checked in at 4 so this was just a little stop for everyone to change, use the bathroom, and take off. As soon as we checked in and went up to our room one of the workers came up to our room knocking on our door asking my family who was there to use the bathroom and change their baby’s diaper to leave because they were loitering. I told the man that when we checked in they saw my family was there and didn’t say anything when I checked in, so why the aggressive loitering comments now? Also they had only been parked for 10min so not sure how that’s considered loitering ha. Once they finished following us all around and yelling at my family asking them to leave they come back up knocking on our door again asking for IDs and how many people were staying in the room - my sister and brother were still there with us because we were gunna walk over to the dodger game and I was like yes there’s only 4 people staying here the extra people are my family and we’re all together. I’ve literally never had this happen to me. My family was with us because we were going to the game after. No one was loitering and no extra people were staying in the room with us, this was one of the rudest hotel experiences I’ve ever had to deal with. Pay the extra money to go somewhere else next time...

Window was open upon arrival in room, ok size, looked like picture. Now to the bad. Can't walk a block down without getting asked for a cigarette by beaten up homeless people. I don't find most areas bad that other people do but this was such a trash neighborhood. Homeless communities under the bridge. Upon check out got accused of smoking marijuana and told I was getting my deposit held for "cleaning." The man arguing must have had some type of different morals, because he was talking to me like I was less than him because I'm a woman and I got told to watch my language when he was accusing me of smoking when I didnt. He refused to give me a paper saying marijuana isnt allowed in the room (not being smoked, as this is clearly a non smoking hotel) and said he was calling cops, which I encouraged. When cops got there 2 hours later (waste of time) he said the room smelled like marijuana (and if anyone smokes they know when you open a container of potent weed it WILL smell an area up, especially a small hotel room) and he said the front desk probably assumed I was smoking it in the room because of how bad the area is and because there's a bunch of "dope fiends" that stay at the hotel. So I am now trying to dispute the charge on my card. If you want to ruin your vacation, waste your time, spend the rest of it broke, and get approached by homeless people with bloody faces begging for things stay here.
