Wasteland — Attraction in Los Angeles

Wasteland Wast’aTime, the first 2 times I did well made a good chunk of money 3rd time I walked in with Abercrombie & Fitch Ralph Lauren B-Republic, so the girl with glasses I think she’s like the manager or something “important” I suppose she says none of them name brand are not desirable ok so I place the items on the waiting bench, then I brought my second batch of items for sell, some really old authentic concert T’s DMode some Punk Rock (extremely rare) Jane’s Addiction The US Festival 1983 plus more Harley Davidson 3D tag I should add) I had about 15 vtg concert tees and the HD shirt, now I’m not sure if manager girl is educated on pricing the shirts I had but she was pricing my shirts between $5-10 a piece , now come on now, I told her thanks but no thanks it seemed like she didn’t like that I refused her after that she turns down all my stuff now, that’s not fair, the thing that’s interesting is the shirts I’ve sold to that place in the pass are never displayed I could have swore I seen them my shirts posted online prices at $100-500 a shirt what a damn rip off, I don’t recommend, anyways I went back today with some really good resale clothing the girl that was helping was about to offer me a deal got cut off by “miss manager” said something walked away, the girl helping me her mouth kinda dropped and said “sorry there’s nothing here I have to pass” The place is a...

Love this store!! The staff are soooo sweet and the inventory is so very fashion forward and ahead of the game. Def the buyers here have an astute sartorial trending eye!

I am a Stylist so I know I can count on finding something for a shoot that is bit avant-garde and this saves me from hunting all over town.

It is a wonderful addition to our neighborhood, I can not NOT go in without buying something. So it makes just walking by a tough one in a good way (well, not for the bank account), I know if i walk to get coffee... I will end up in Wasteland!

Not sure what some of the bad reviews are, people need to learn the difference between a resale shop and a thrift store. Curation is not a thrift store and respect for curation is a fine thing. It is like taking a basic b that listens to bad top 40 to an Opera. Discerning taste is a skill... respect it.

You would think that since this is a second-hand store, the prices would be cheaper. But nope. I was wrong. Aside from the lack of customer service, another thing they lack is the ability to remove Original price tags prior to them putting a price much higher than the retail value. Never going back here again! Surely dont feel like getting scammed!

To the response: Why call yourself “Waste” Land when you are reselling items above their retail value? You dont expect a second-hand store to function like a pawn shop would.
