Despite the low rating, I do want to acknowledge the pros first:
My technician was very friendly and professional. She was very clear with instructions and kept checking in to make sure I was comfortable. Excellent experience with the technician.
The front desk staff was friendly and checking in was simple.
Parking validation was super easy.
Now the cons: *A couple employees and some patients did NOT wear a face mask!!!!!!!!! To be clear, they would wear it when addressing me and dealing with patients, but a number of times I would see them lower the mask to their chin (exposing their mouth and nose) while they were working behind the plastic partition. In fact one worker who was arriving to work walked right through the patient waiting room without a mask, then later put one on at their desk; however I definitely saw that employee take off their mask while working at their desk. We can still see you in the office area AND we patients will walk through that space where you are sitting without a mask!
*There was no attempt to create social distancing in the patient waiting room. Chairs were next to one another and with enough incoming patients, little room would be left to distance ourselves from one another.
*Wait time was over an hour. I understand theyāre busy and scans can take some time to complete. Honesty this wouldnāt have bothered me under normal circumstances. BUT, because of the pandemic, waiting long periods of time in these spaces is highly stressful, especially when I clearly see people not wearing a face mask.
I appreciate the sacrifice medical workers are making by tending to our conditions and illnesses during this time. But please abide by the safety...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy MRI/MRA experience here on 12/17/2024 was deeply disturbing and dysfunctional. The technician ignored emergency protocols, violated my bodily autonomy, and skipped safety procedures. To keep this short, I won't list every infraction but there were many. The front desk staff person was a disorganized disappointment as well, but the tech experience was most important to me because that's where my safety was put at risk. Admin is just paperwork.
When I filed a grievance, their website form didnāt work, and emails bounced back. I eventually spoke with the manager, who seemed genuinely concerned and professional. However, itās alarming that this technician works under their supervision. Either the manager is unaware of these actions, or this behavior has been toleratedāboth scenarios are unacceptable. The tech was far too comfortable in her behavior for this to have been her first time going rogue.
RadNet needs stronger oversight and regular evaluations of staff, not just one-time training. If you experience something similar, speak up, submit a grievance, and notify your insurance. Healthcare staff are regular peopleāsome well-trained, some not, and others with no business working with patients. Patients deserve care that respects their safety, autonomy,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was not expecting my visit to be as awesome as it was when I first entered. However the front staff of one was very nice. And seeing how it's very small I figured I'd wait along time seeing that a male staff went to lunch probably won't attend me til he got back. I was called shortly after. Was given everything from gown to instructions. And I felt the female staff technician matching my energy cause I wanted to get this over with and out the door. She was very quick with my IV. I'm looking around to see if anyone would assist her, but no. She hustled on her own and I knew this is what we go through being in the medical field. Overworked and under appreciated. Not once did she complained. She had that great energy and it was very empowering to see that we can definitely surpass on our own when the job needs to get done. I was very proud of being in the hands of someone who worked so efficiently yet humble. When the 18 minutes were up and the MRI process was finished. I see a older male worker peeping through the blinds Like wondering what she is doing alone. Followed by the male coworker who left for his break or lunch. All I hear her say is " we're finished and done". I had the...
