Tonight I decided to go into Michaelās because I see their beads were buy three get three free first of all I am down an aisle with a manager named Julie who is there with another associate talking about another associate and if she canāt do her job right? Iām gonna tell her thereās a door and she can go home. Iām not gonna put up with that shit then she calls another guy named Michael over and was complaining about what associate is doing. They leave the aisle. Iām still looking at beads. You can hear her arguing with another customer. Balloons and how they float away instead of her listening to Customerās concern she just likes to talk over him. I get to the register. I go to check out and I noticed that the beads that I purchased were ringing at 599 and there is a sign for 499. I bring it to her attention and she makes excuses of well. You just need to understand that weāre doing a floor set. The prices are set wrong . I explained to Jolene, how is she going to inconvenience a customer as if it That they are setting a new planogram and that their prices are wrong. Thatās not our fault so why why make us feel bad over something that we did not do. All she can do is stand there and argue at the end of the day. I was talked into signing up for the insider coupon thing. I don't know what it is called but I get texts all the time with coupons and links to sales. Not once, ever, in the entire time I have been signed up have they honored a single coupon they have sent me. There is an excuse every single time. I went in Saturday June 18th to get 10-12 wooden crates at $12.99 each (regular price) with a 20% off coupon. Of course it didn't work I got 10, so before tax it was $130 I asked to speak to the manager. The manager said it was reg price but like everything in the store that is not on sale its a "great buy" and "great buys" are excluded from coupons. I asked for a 10% discount as I'm spending with tax close to $150. She said no. Not only no but never ever will she do a discount for anything ever. Then added thats the corporate policy. Corporate will not allow the store manager to satisfy any customer that has been inconvenienced and is upset in any way. Ok. I'm done. I went down the road to JoAnn's told them what happened. The sales floor lady gave me 25% off on the spot. They only had 9 of the wooden crates I wanted but I will order the last few. JoAnn's was happy to help me. (06/25/25) Manager named JULIE. Absolutely ridiculous of a person and should NOT be working in retail. As someone who never comes in store and always pays the extra $7.99 for same day delivery, I am VERY upset. I am chronically ill and I use my spare time or time when Iām in a flare to do art this lady has made it to where I NEVER want to give Michaels a penny!!!! Itās sad the other associate apologized about her behavior, I asked if she was a manager as well because she had been so helpful and she said no and I told her she definitely needs Julieās position!!!!!!
