Great dog park when there are so few in this area. On a drive from Dallas to Lake Charles and with older dogs I plan a route with dog parks so I’ve been to so many all over texas. The large dog size is massive and maintained and plenty of water pressure at the water fountain. The benches are shaded because of the east Texas trees and the fencing is high and sturdy. Small dog side has a bench and more agility equipment but if you’re stopping in the the middle of the day when it’s empty I’d just bring the the smaller dog onto the larger side...
   Read morePlenty of room to run and play for both little dogs and big dogs in separate fenced in areas. Both areas have water fountains, the one in the big dog side was working and clean. Sadly, we need more rain to get the grass growing again. I still prefer natural ground to artificial turf. The (big) dog park was clean of trash and poop, but remember to bring your own clean up bags, most of the time the poop bags are available, but was empty today.
