Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Lufkin

Absolutely the WORST pizza ever. Can't believe they charge over 10 dollars a person..it use to be ok years ago but now, go to heb or Brookshire Brothers buy severl cheap Totino's pizza and enjoy a better tasting pizza plus have money left to take your family elsewhere... Ice maker didn't work so people were having to put their hands on the dispenser where the ice actually falls out to get it to work...and you know people before me and after me all had sanitized hands. Stay away from this grotesque pizza place.

Ok it's been good while since my last visit. I've changed my STAR RATING from a ONE star to a FOUR star.

After my 1 star rating and my honest review the manager which had just taken over contacted me and apologized. The manager informed me that major changes are on the way and asked if I would give them another try. So several months later I dropped in.

06/2022 - beverage dispenser working correctly! The pizza, a night and day difference! It actually had sauce and a good bit of toppings. The BBQ pizza which is my favorite was back like it was when cici's first opened. Think last time I might have one piece, today I got my fill! Also ate numerous pieces of the pepperoni / jalapeño, and spinach pizza.

While talking to the manager two women from out of town on their way out stopped and told the manager how much they enjoyed it and asked how they can contact cici's corporate office to try to get a restaurant in their town. If they had been there last time I was there I'm sure they would have not been pleased. So it's definitely worth stopping in for now. The manager has definitely got that place whipped into shape... Speaking of shape, my shape is probably going to be a little more rounder due to how much...

I used to go to CC's all the time. I will now never go there again. The food there made the whole family sick. Not to mention, it is expected to have kids running around having a good time and enjoying themselves. But not when it is the employee's children that are running around screaming to the top of their lungs, almost tripping people By cuttIng in front of them while they were carrying their food. and no supervision was given Whatsoever. The children were so loud and obnoxious that other people in the Restaurant was. as annoyed as we was. And still the employee that the children belong to did nothing. Not one time did she turn around and correct Her children or even make them calm down. Now I understand a mother having to take her children to work sometimes, but that doesn't mean that she just cuts them loose with no control. They ran from the front of the building to the back of the building, screaming to the top of their lungs, doing whatever they wanted. This is the first time that I have ever given a bad review on a restaurant like this. There was one gentleman employee there That was very considerate and nice. Ac was not working and was very hot in the back. Several games in the game room were not in service. The ice machine was constantly out of ice. The restrooms were very humid and hot. Poor communication between management when it came to birthday party arrangements. Mgr on duty made a comment that the mgr who made the bday reservations had been disciplined which led to no knowledge of two bday parties arriving at the same time with nothing ready for us.

May 2025 update Greasiest pizza buffet in East Texas. This place has fallen into the dumps. Always out of food on the buffet and drink choices. No standards at all. The same person taking our order was also making pizzas. The buffet was empty most of the time because the employee had to keep running back and forth to either make one pizza and/or take orders at front counter. The pizza that was on the buffet was very greasy and was not tasteful. The drinks were mostly out and had two or three selections available. There was a person wearing a Little Ceasar's uniform taking out trash and was walking behind counter. I'd rather drive 35 miles to Nacodoches' Cici's before...
