Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Lufkin

I did an app order just this past Saturday evening. I've stopped eating their food few years ago cause quality is just awful. But drinks and ice cream were still decent. I ordered 2 rt 44 blue raz nerd slushes and got watered down tasting with maybe 3 nerds in the whole drinks... paid extra for the candy's. Also ordered one of those new cream slushes and it tasted soured, and my oreo sonic blast that was just a few oreos on top and plain ice-cream through out. Also didn't taste very good either. The car hop was nice but wasn'tpaying attention, had carrier on my order andjust brought me out all this order with no way to haul it and lids were hardly on anything.. I'm officially done with sonic , I'll get my ice cream from DQ.. I'm also going to call corporate office about this... I have pictures of my drinks...

This sonic is kind of icky. It is really run down and they seem to not care about repairing screens or slots or speakers. We ordered drinks and cheese sticks. The ranch we got was congealed and hot. I think it must have been expired or stored wrong. It wasn't just room temp, it was warm. I did not eat it. My kids were outside the car playing tag in the seating area while we waited (no one was out there) one of the people inside opened the door and told them to stop playing around the tables. The sonic a few miles down is way better, way cleaner, way more put together. Just go there. The redeeming factor that gave it the 2 stars was that my server was delightful. She was nice, helpful and working there had not...

Update to my review below. I just had the complete opposite experience given the same scenario. Put my order in 5 minutes prior to arriving. Checked in while I noticed they were super busy. I must have waited 30 or 40 SECONDS before someone had my drink in my hand. Don't know what happened but I'll add a star every time that happens. My original review is below for reference.

They're slower than other locations. I tried to stop by for a quick drink. I ordered on the app about 3 or 4 minutes before pulling in.
