Harbor Freight — Local services in Lufkin

Everytime I've gone into Harbor Freight I've had a great experience. Now you're likely gonna get up sold some things but the employees have never pushed anything and have never suggested I get something nonsensical to my purchase. Ex. "Hey, I see you're buying clamps, if you're doing wood working and need some glue it's on isle "X"."

Beyond that, a person I know had a terrible experience at their Jasper location and when I talked to the manager, Bob, he was able to answer my questions regarding store policy on customer privacy and spent several minutes helping me.

The tools there are indeed cheap, but for my use case, that just means that I can beat stuff up and not worry about breaking the bank on tools when I need a replacement.

My favorite place for all things tools and goodies! Very nice and clean store with a good selection of hardware, tools, even auto detailing supplies and necessities which is my go to as a detailer. Lufkin location- Staff is friendly and helpful and I have never had any problems when returning items of any products purchased in the past.

My visit today went well. Out of town on a job and I had a return. There were 2 people inline already. I expected a wait. However, a manager came out of nowhere and assisted the next inline. The lady in front of me was now walking up to the register so I shifted lanes. I didnt have my receipt but I gave my number and he explained they were out of that particular item but he would be more than happy to refund my money.
