Purchased a phone about a year ago. When we purchased it we were told that a certain fee we paid covered that if the phone got wet and we got it to them in a timely manner and haven't pushed any buttons that they could put it in this box that would dry it out and if it didn't that they would help replace the phone. A few days ago my phone got a little wet so I brought it up there within a hour of it happening, the guy said that the software for the box was down and the only other option was to purchase a new phone. Unfortunately at this time I can not afford to do so. There was not much water in the phone. We know this because we brought it to another place and they opened it up and it was barely wet. I 100% feel like the guy did not want to even try to help me he just wanted to make another sale. I also called their corporate office and they are no help either. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM HERE! Go to a true Verizon Store at least there you may not get lied to.
Update 4/17/2021: I emailed them on the 13th/14th after they replied to this review and still have not heard anything back. Also the phone is now kinda working (after purchasing a refurbished phone from Amazon for $300) so I'm pretty sure if the guy would have tried it would have dried the phone out and we would not be at this point.
Update 4/18/2021: I have sent a second email the first was sent on the 13th (I went back and checked the date) still no reply from the first. Obviously they really "care" about their customers đ
Update 4/24/2021: After sending a 4th email around the 20th someone (can't remember name) finally called. He obviously could care less like every other person I have talked to with TCC. I asked how long it would take for them to "figure" out what was going on and he said 6 to 8 weeks which is absolutelyabsurd. He pretty much dismissed everything.    Read moreI will never go anywhere else for phones or help with my products! Back in October, the night before I was supposed to leave on a really important trip, I shattered my phone. To the point that it was cutting me trying to use it. I came in to the Verizon store, 20 minutes before closing, in a panic. Charlie looked at my phone and told me it was beyond repair, but he could get me up and running that night with a new phone. When I was having trouble deciding and CLEARLY freaking out, Charlie fixed my phone. With packing tape! Was it a forever fix? No. But what it did was let me enjoy my trip without stressing about my phone. When I came back, we took another look at my phone (just in case) and then he helped me find a new one. Once again, he hooked me up. I had no idea what was new in phones, and Charlie and Jon were so patient, explaining the differences, finding out what I needed the phone for, what my daily use was etc. I feel confident that I got the best phone FOR ME, not just "the best phone". They even helped me find a free case that gave my phone a SECOND SCREEN!! I can't count the times either Charlie or Jon has gone out of their way to help me with something.(I have REALLY bad luck with phones) So when it came time to find phones for the kids for Xmas, where to go was a no brainer. Once again, the guys are hooking me up, finding the "Super cool fans edition" phone my teens HAD to have, even ordering it for me when they didn't have it in stock. AND it will be here before Xmas, AND they are setting them up for me AND helping me get everything activated without anyone knowing and ruining the surprise! Don't bother being disappointed anywhere else, come here. Ask for Charlie or Jon and get what you need WITHOUT...
   Read moreMy fiancee and I went to the Panama city store, we started a new plan with new phones and accessories thats all we got!! No help setting anything up, no help with the new phone, didn't put on screen protector or anything. We told the agent that neither of us were very good with computers, or phones he assured us it was very easy!! Get home and of course its not easy got one phone to transfer to new phone but not nearly everything he told us would transfer. As for my fiancée phone after calling the help line one lady with roosters crowing in the background told us she didn't know what to do and to Google how to switch it over really?!! The next lady said she would check it out put us on hold for 20 minutes and never came back, so after hours of this we decided to go to Lynn haven store for help as its closer to home, Jon from that store was an amazing help he knew his job, he was extremely helpful come to find out we could have gotten a much better deal than we were offered better phones and everything we needed help with he helped and got both phones working and even took time to show us some features we needed to know for our new phones.
