This just went from a 1 star, dangerous, indigent, crime park, to a 4 star, because City of Lynnwood ingeniously converted it to a Frisbee park. It is wonderful to hear the click of metal of hole in ones, and happy groups of friendly, healthy, guys cheering throws. It also has a Friends-Of volunteer effort that is notable. Night time is still dicey, but hat tip to Lynnwood for not giving up on this important old growth tree park as high density tax payers deserve it, and it is on the walking entrance to ECC for hundreds taking buses. Read moreI love this park! I used to go here once a week for the disc golf course.. However lately it has been taken over by the homeless community. the park has been innodated with trash and campers.
I tried to go there last week to golf and there was a group living out their car and filling the entire parking lot with All their stuff and household items.
I cannot personally keep picking up the trash with no gloves or trashbags.. There needs to be a community effort to save our park if possible!

There were some people living in the bushes and I recommend you wear some good boots, we ran into some discarded needles while recovering discs.
Update: second time we went, there were more needles, some full garbage bags someone had dumped midway down hole 1. Someone was camping at the tee for a hole midway thru the course. The Portable toilet had one sleeping occupant inside when we arrived. As we were leaving another occupant went in for a long stay without locking the door. Lots of activity to keep an...
