I first came to know Middle East Jewelry because I was in a panic due to a "botched" re-sizing job on a ring done by another local jeweler. This was not just a botched job, but I was given the ring and the stones in separate bags, and told they were unable to complete the work. Needless to say, I was very upset, as this was a special anniversary ring that I had not even been able to wear. I Googled "Jewelers" in the area, and came upon Middle East Jewelry. I literally left the previous store in tears, and went straight to Middle East Jewelers after talking with Sarah, who was extremely calming and friendly, giving me the directions, and telling me "yes" they would be waiting. Right away, my fears and concerns were put at ease. The customer service is exceptional in Ahmed and Sarah. Rarely do you find such "customer in" these days, and the team here is extraordinary. There was "no problem" and "yes, we can fix this" after closely inspecting the work. Never did I feel rushed, and was made to feel completely at ease. I was communicated to every step of the way, documenting the repair, phone calls, and detailed explanations and photos of the repair. The jewelry history of the owner, Ahmed, is incredible, and his workmanship in the business is why it is so excellent; years of applied knowledge and stewardship from a family owned and trained business for many years. The craftsmanship and artistry of Ahmed's workmanship and repair is unmatched, far exceeding expectations and unlike any I have ever seen. Special detailing and "signature" work of talent, patience and dedication is visible on all repairs. The ring came out just like "brand new" and the way I had received it. I have since taken several items to be repaired, and each time, it is done with skill, artistry and perfection. I enjoy the explanations of the various techniques and history shared as each repair and what was done is explained. There is a real personal touch with the customers that is difficult to find these days. You are made to feel as though you were their only customer, spending special time and attention to YOU and your concerns. The store boasts several unique and gorgeous items for purchase, and the jewelry repair and customer service is simply the best. I have found my jeweler, and he (Ahmed) can truly fix a broken egg! There is no jewelry item that I would not bring to him, and will continue to do business here for...
Read moreI came in today to looking for something for my daughter birthday. I was looking for either a necklace or earrings with her birthstone.
The selection here is very limited. Mostly gaudy pieces. The customer service representative seemed too eager to sell me something without knowing what I was looking for.
I saw one piece and asked if he may have a longer necklace for it and he was reluctant to check.
While I was there another customer came in with a custom bracelet that the lock broke in. Rather offer options to the customer on fixing it the representative insulted the customer saying he won't do it for free and they needed to leave.
I asked to have my finger measured recalling it was a size 8. He accommodated me and my size was correct a size 8. He then suggested heavily a line up of rings that honestly looked like cubic zirconia at best and said they were my size. I could tell they weren't but i did like one and asked to try it on. It was too small and he said he it is certified and can be sized but it will cost me. I said I'm not interested as I didn't care for how he was speaking to me and how he spoke in general. He said do you want something cheaper because this ring is atleast $8000. He would sell it to me for $4000. I said no thank you and he began to berate me for not being able to afford the ring. I stated you don't know me or what I can afford and was turning to leave when He said that he didn't want a customer like me. I statwd I don't want to be a customer of your's and left.
Unless you like to be haggled, harassed and insulted please...
Read moreI discovered only days before leaving for an important trip that my diamond was loose on my engagement ring. I took my wedding set into Middle East Jewelry to see if they could repair the claws in time for my trip. While there, I inquired about downsizing the whole set. Fortunately for me, they were able to both repair the claws AND complete the sizing in time. As far as I am concerned, this is the ONLY place to go! The workmanship is superior, the pricing is excellent and you can tell that they really care about their clients. My rings look better than they did new! When I originally got my rings I chose a 'jacket' around my engagement ring instead of a traditional wedding band. The jacket never looked that good before, it was spaced too far away from the engagement ring and the spacing was uneven on both sides. NOW, it's a whole new set of rings. The jacket now sits snugly and evenly on either side of my engagement ring and looks fantastic. I will DEFINITELY be back - I have another ring I need work done on and I know that they will do a...
